he definitely came back. it just ended and the camera did not pan out the mom and son hugging. they just cut it like that as a compromise to the british ending.

now korean version ending makes sense to me. initially i was frustrated why they did not even show the son's face or at least give us the last scene where the mother and son hugged after 1 year and give us a good cry and happiness. knowing how the british version ended, now i understand why the director gave that kind of ending.

even though it was an underwhelming ending, but i liked it. I had so much emotions watching the entire season. it was a roller coaster ride and most of the time i feel so stressed LOL but even with the stress i can't just stop watching it and always hope that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I'm gonna miss this show but i'm glad it's over now LOL i need some super light romantic series after this. 10/10
