in reality, she’s still a detective and with the current evidence, DHS is the main suspect.
i will be more disappointed if she’s not gonna do anything about it just because she knows her husband. you cannot know everything about a person. and she said that his husband wont be punished for something he has not done. she arrested him as a “suspect “ and not as “murderer” . of course as viewers we know what really happened but for her character to think that DHS was set up (plus she saw BHS was still on coma) she should be a mind reader to think that way. Bottomline, BHS played them like chess pieces and its their time to get back in the game. ;)

i hope MDL change it back to 40 episodes to avoid confusion especially both iqyi and youtube both aired 40eps and not the 46 episodes.
