Yea but i’m saying that it’s only been one week and people should give it some more time. Knetizens are always so quick to judge. The drama could get better or worse they don’t even know and are just jumping to conclusions. And in terms of success you can’t really compare the two yet. We should wait for the drama to end first and if it was truly bad then it won’t be successful and end off with terrible rating. However it might get better so we should wait and see before we judge. But this is just my opinion I found the first episode funny and light hearted it’s very suiting for a summer time drama.

Also, it’s not like they had a whole relationship, he only said his number out loud and she didn’t even save it she was just teasing him. He may have been slightly attracted to her for like a second but she did kiss him first

I’m black myself so of course i thought about the flies coming out of the dread locks as disrespectful. Then i thought they probably didn’t mean any type of harm because they were just trying to express his character more. However, I see what you mean regardless of their intention it was rude and it puts out the wrong idea of black people with that type of hair especially since korean tend to be gullible to whatever they see on tv. Also, i wouldn’t say that that kiss scene was pedophilia. Technically the age of consent is 16 in south korea and she was 18 making him 28. Pedophilia refers to sexual attraction to children 13 and under (that haven’t. even reached puberty yet). She’s almost 19 in the drama so it’s not pedophilia but take it how you want.

the king was actually heavily criticized and this drama is only two episode in so you can’t say it’s not as successful. Everyone has their own preference and maybe she didn’t like the king.

i wouldn’t say he lost his flow, i just think he’s better in action dramas. he’s still a great actor! and he’s great in rom com too but i just prefer him in action. even in suspicious partner (before melting me softly) he still gives me the same vibes from then in backstreet rookie.

I think she may be referring to the fact that one of the characters had “reggae” hair (basically dreads) and then they have flies coming out of his hair. But i don’t think they meant it in an offensive way. The character is not necessarily on the clean side. They haven’t showed much of him yet but i can infer that they did that to show that he’s probably not clean(they make him dress and act like a bum). But watch it and take it hour you want.
