The analysis is spot on!!!! 👌 I agree that last scene in Ep 8 is not happening anytime soon. It's like the scene when Soo Young accidentally fell on Jong Hyun and was misunderstood by Sang Soo. They started dating for real much later. So I think something else is going on here, but they may eventually get together much later. Probably, Mi Kyung will suspect Sang Soo and Soo Young having an affair before they actually do.
The writing of this drama is so clever. The story is so unpredictable. And character's decisions might look frustrating…

I agree with the comedy part, that's what kept me going with the drama. What disengaged me was the repetitiveness, season 2 repeats a lot of subplots and ideas from season 1.
