Something's up with Jin Mu, seems like he is the key to what happened in the past. He probably did something to gain more power when Jang was in king's body and asked him for help.
I'm surprised that Seo Yul still hasn't noticed the blue mark in Mu Deok's eyes considering they were pretty close to each other in some of the scenes.

I second this, although I don't think Uk should have said that to Mu Deok, I also understand that he was hurt to hear that Jang was not his real father. Ultimately, Mu Deok won here because she got him out of his slump and took him to a place where she can train him better and not follow his whims. I also overall enjoy their relationship because of this back and forth they have, they banter and try to outwit each other but ultimately rely on each other. Uk's character so far has been pretty realistic and refreshing in contrast to Seo Yul who seems too perfect in almost every way lol
