The first chapter only aired for 4 days. I initially had no expectations from this show. But I’m glad for the cast and crew it’s raking good results. A good number of locals are tuning in and it’s getting 1st in TV drama rankings. Their hard work wasn’t put in vain.
Zhao Lusi’s character Tian Zao breaking 9 on Vlinkage, not just once. This is her first TV drama. It’s a successful attempt to transition to another platform and tap a wider demographics.
Levitate14’s review has a good take on this. First and foremost, know that this show caters to Mainland Chinese.
You have the freedom to not consume it. You can watch it but it does NOT mean you have to agree with it. You can just consider this show as looking at their POV, how they interpret their history and culture.
Or — let’s be honest — simply watch it for actors you like.
Why is just chapter 1 cast in the cast and crew now? 🤔
The staff replied to me with “please don't re- add roles for now, because we will do splitting for the parts, and this will be at the end only base page, and they will be split to their respected parts”
Is this drama split into parts? I guessing so since rest of the main cast disappeared from the list and the poster…
When the poster was changed, I sent a request for it to be back to them 6 (https://kisskh.at/photos/rJWky_3) but the admin rejected it stating this photo is edited 😐
