Questo drama aveva tutte le carte in regole per essere un ottimo prodotto televisivo. Si è perso per strada, con un susseguirsi di episodi riempitivi ed inutili, con un plot twist confusionario e poco coinvolgente. Per non parlare del finale, appiccato a forza per concludere la storia. 40 episodi di una serie, che poteva essere riassunta in meno della metà. peccato davvero!

I really don't understand how you can write that this drama is bad, of people who stopped watching it after episode 13. Still I want to try to understand, what have you seen?!. This drama has many dead spots, some characters totally without depth (the rich noble man who causes the mother's death of the protagonist), but from here to read comments like "boring", "meaningless", it makes me understand how little attention is there in the vision of a certain drama. One of all, is the continuous saying "it's slow", when most of the Asian productions are based on this type of narration. Another unnecessary criticism, which I have read in many comments, is the chemistry between the protagonists, or the age of the protagonist, the poor acting ability, etc. etc. A word of advice to everyone, come back to see the American TV series, because in my opinion, you really didn't understand this drama. Then in the final, this "I lost my time" thing, as if someone were standing with a pistol put on the back of your neck, forcing you to look at something, that you don't want to look at, nobody forces you, there is no law to about.

I think few have understood the concept of certain types of drama, here we have a classic "Melodrama", with soap opera elements, giving an opinion only on the slowness of the narrative, or on the length of the series, we have not really entered the philosophy of Korean drama. Then you talk about "the cast and acting are a disaster", in my opinion you are wrong. I saw the first episode just yesterday, knowing the type of drama, I already knew what I was going towards, and I found it pleasant, I will be able to say more in the following (I am not afraid of the length). I conclude that I have read several reviews, and negative opinions on this series, all focused on the length (123 episodes), the bad acting, and the rambling narrative, in my opinion none of these people have what type of production, they are found in front. I have seen drama with half the episodes being more boring than this, and drama with more than fifty full twists and acting at very high levels.

As a fan of Korean cinema, still struggling to understand the concept of "forbidden to minors", on a film whose only love scenes are of a poetic never seen in any other television film production. This "explicit sexual content", I am still looking for them, since in this film (among other things of a beauty never seen before) there is everything except that. Poetic, sweet, bitter, and sad where two lovers, looking for each other, struggling to say goodbye ...

This drama is realy interessing, but is a exlusive of netflix, right?!

However I want to understand, what is vm 18 in this film, nothing is seen. There are normal "sex" scenes from typical American comedy, with Korean drama verve and humor. How do you classify this film as forbidden to children under eighteen, when there is none of this. So I wonder, "scarlet innocence, the handmaiden, and the intimate lover", what are they forbidden to children under thirty ?! XD

In the various reviews, one speaks incorrectly of conjugal "betrayal", but in reality it is a past love, if not understood well ?!
