What an amazing actor! I adored him in Tribes and Empires (his chemistry with his female partner was off the charts) and now again in The Rebel Princess. I need to watch more of his work! Plus he looks stunning in historical clothing.
The amount of times my boy Sifeng got stabbed in the heart, killed or generally hurt makes me want to go on a rampage through the three realms! #protectSF2021
The plot itself isn't too bad, but holy cow the acting is horrendous. The ML is made out of wood and the FL and her maid... Everytime they talk to each other I feel my brain rotting. I can't, I had to drop it.
I really want to see this, but 60 episodes?... And a second season... Is the serie worth it?
Season 1 is absolutely worth it! It has great acting, amazing cinematography and the music is just *chef's kisses*. I love the main cast and every single supporting character so much. Seriously, I have watched this drama in its entirety 4-5 times and my fave scenes even more. Season 2 is another beast entirely. And I actually don't like that season at all. Read a few reviews and you'll figure out why.
But even so, watch Season 1 - you want regret it.
