im seeing alot of disappointed comments about how the first 4 eps only focused on the family but i thought that was expected? we need a female mc with character and story and these 4 eps themselves have added a lot of depth to not only her but also to supporting characters.
obviously i cant wait for ml x fl interactions but im enjoying this emotional pain alot

i didnt have much of a problem in wrtw with hei fengxi being the main character but for this series im glad they kept CSS as the MC because her story is generally brushed aside in dramas with male centric lead and we all know how many dramas exist with a male main lead who is a general and out to get revenge

also the pacing will be slower for sure considering this is 56 eps not 40.
to everyone expecting an action packed romance i think you should wait till part 2 airs.

to everyone whos wondering why they spent so long on just family fights, lets not forget that the main character of this series is CSS, LBY is her male lead.
the series will definitely show more about CSS's life and it all starts with how lonely and unloved she has been and still is.
