Title My Stand-In
No it's not weird. Ming never actually planned any of this. He was a selfish rich brat who never cared about anything.…

Title My Stand-In
As much as I dislike Ming (which is saying something as I dislike him more than Boston from Only friends) is weird…
No it's not weird. Ming never actually planned any of this. He was a selfish rich brat who never cared about anything. On the other hand, Tong knew exactly what he was doing. He actually uses people around him be it Ming or his wife to get his job done.

To anyone who read the novel. How this ends?
Ming is given a redemption arc. Joe forgives him. So happy ending.

how is this different from the novel?
I can spot only minor changes. They are representing the novel correctly. I hope it's the same for future episodes.

Imagine any guest visiting your house and they get to see " friends with benefits" painted in your window.

Yeah and some are saying Vegas is better. For me it's devil or deep sea.
May be both kept their partners under house arrest.

Vegas vs Ming? Why trying to compare two different mentalities and how is Vegas related to this drama?? 🤔🤔🤔
Yeah and some are saying Vegas is better. For me it's devil or deep sea.

I had some soft corner for vegas but not for ming He is more like ray but worse , hitting someone is stright up…
True unfortunately this happens in real life. We fall for a**holes.

IMO Ming is a worse red flag than Vegas. Vegas was a violent gangster, hence it was not surprising when he did…
Actually his family is not nice. Even his sister for that matter. Unlike in series, his sister was bad in novel. Ming father was a typical authoritarian asian parent as per the novel. We may get to see this in future episodes. Ming is supposed be a rich insensitive brat who changes after losing his Joe and realizes his love when it's too late. NOT SUPPORTING MING YES HE IS HORRIBLE.

Joe ignored it because he was attracted. It's clear in the novel that Joe was infactuated towards Ming. He used to ignore Ming's insensitive behaviour as childish.

Actually Ming never acted good. He was always insensitive towards Joe. He used to occasionally taunt him if u can recall. He clearly said this relationship is only physical. Till this point Im fine with Ming and Joe was too. He is toxic when he can't see Joe with another guy but he is not loyal himself. He is using Joe as a substitute. He sabotaged Joe's career because of this arrogance. These things make him horrible.

I just want to give shoutout to the creators of the show to represent novel correctly. There are some changes but it didn't destroy the story. This is what step by step and Kinn Porsche failed to do that they didn't do justice to the novel. I was disappointed with step by step as the novel was awesome but the creators destroyed it. And for KP, I wanted some of my favourite moments to be in the series. Here the story is neither moving speed or slow, it's just perfect. They covered the entire flashback in just 4 episodes. Brilliant.

In this episode Joe reads the news that Tong acted in the film and it became super hit. But in the novel Tong (Wang Yu Dong) didn't even act in the movie. That moron provoked Ming to keep Joe house arrest but in the end he did not even act in that movie. He just couldn't see his stuntman getting recognition so he played this evil game. AND POOR JOE DIED BECAUSE OF THIS MOVIE. THAT'S SO UNFAIR

When will Joe die? Like when he does and goes into another body? Was it in ep 1 or will it be in upcoming ep 4?…
He dies while performing the dangerous stunt on mountain as shown in the preview. Yes the story continues from episode 1. I think as per preview the episode will end with Joe's accident. From 5th epi, the story resume to present day. Yes Ming becomes miserable. He feels guilty.

At this point, I don't mind anymore if Taiwan will re-create and adopt this to a new sets of actors in their country.…
Is there news like that? Is there any drama being made on this novel in Taiwan?
