This was cute I thought! Three main leads, the first two are the male actors, Lee Jun Ho who played Seo Poong, and Jang Hyuk who played Doo Chil Sung and he was chilling for sure Followed by the third main lead actress Jung Ryeo Won who played Dan Sae Woo. Lee Jun Ho is just hilarious in this but I have to go back and watch the first few episodes because I failed to watch them. I was too busy working out.

Update: I did go back and watch the first 6 episodes and just as I thought I would love what I needed to see. I did give a higher rating. Thank you to all the team of Wok of Love.

I felt bad for the first one!

Rosy Zhao who plays Sang Qi is a very good actress, but her best performance for me is the "Long Ballad".
Xu Kai Cheng who plays Yan Yun Zhi was okay, I really don't have an honest opinion on him as I haven't seen any of his acting skills except one other and I was not really that impressed with the storyline.

Ren Hao whose character is Zhuo Wen Yuan, I kind of felt sorry for him, the character that is. I don't think he was evil in the beginning but became extremely bad when Sang Qi fell in love with Yan Zhi. He honestly loved Sang Qi. I don't like how the storyline took this character.

The visuals were good, and the martial art was excellent... didn't care too much for the storyline but it did keep my focus because of Ren Hao and Rosy Zhao. Thanking all the support and quest cast. I loved the children in the beginning. I did love the red/black historic costumes. Please, don't make the horses look too fake.

The parts of this storyline were cute, nerve-racking, and mysterious, and for me, it looks like a lot of parts were cut out. A Chinese Drama with only 16 episodes doesn't make sense to me. The main actors did very well in this drama. I have to kudos to one of the actresses and she was not the main lead. I believe she should've been the main leading child actress in this drama. Xu Duo Duo, what a smart child she is, she is so cute! The main Lead actor Tsao Yu Ning, has never seen him before but now that I have I need to watch KANO. Great job to all that made this drama. Since this is a modern drama, I will not comment on the visuals, fighting scenes and etc.

The storyline was cute. I felt that the main leads did their part with their characters. The idea of a switch marriage was very clever for a storyline. A supertype hero with a dual personality is also clever. Out of all the characters in this drama, I like Xiao Bae the best. Vesta Ding wasn't that bad at all... lol This is not the kind of drama I would watch normally and I just end up watching this one. The costumes were the norm for that period although, I loved the colors. I feel this is a good watch for others that enjoy dramas that had just a little fantasy. Martial Art was not enough for me but it was okay.

Apology within!

First of all, I want to apologize to YangMi, Vin, and the other actors/actresses in this drama. I was not fair in my last rating. I won't give a full explanation as to why I had rated it so low during the time I watched it the first time. Just know I was under the duress of losing loved ones. I decided to watch it again, not only this one but the Negotiator as well. The storyline was great and it deserved better from me. I still really believe that YangMi does her best acting during historical dramas such as Eternal Love. She is one of my top Chinese actresses and always has been. I hope I am forgiven. Vin was so awesome in this and to see him in a different light was very uplifting for me. Everything else, the set, the production, the support actors, and the actresses all did a good job.

This was pretty decent. I loved the storyline. No competition on who gets who... I think this is more about avenging than anything else. The costumes, set, visuals, and martial arts were all there, so that is a good thing. I would re-watch it again but not right away. A lot of fighting in this one but not like a war type of fighting... The main lead actor/actress was awesome. I just love how loyalty plays a lot historically. I'm saying that sarcastically! I thank the whole team for this drama. I hope to see the two main leads in another drama.

Song Kang <--- I love this actor. I know he is new I hope he does more drama away from the horror films he likes to do. I am not a fan of vampires but this vampire movie was cute. I wished it was a drama with 16 episodes. If Song Kang can hear this... DO NOT PLAY ANY MORE HORROR FILMS! I would love to see you in a love story or historic adventure where it doesn't take 6 months to show. I love the momma character and the hidden closet. Whoever wrote the storyline needs write another one similar or rebuild this storyline into a longer one. Please please, please... I am scared to death of vampires (literally) but not this kind.

This was pretty nice. The actress in the main lead doesn't look like she could be in her thirties but she played the part with maturity. I love the main lead actor as he portrayed the younger man, he also played his part with maturity. So, therefore, the 12 years were chipped down to the same age. I am that older woman who has married a younger man 13 years my senior. I never looked my age not even not as a senior. I feel that we as women will hang in there for love but a younger man will not. I was married to him for 16 years. This is my personal opinion. I'm an American and I feel that men do not respect women here... marriage here is not sacred. In the case of a Korean older woman marrying a young Korean man... I would say that it could work. I'm happy that there are over 34,000 couples in S Korea where it is younger men/older women! I would love to see more dramas such as this one. Age is only a number, you can't change that, Love is Love and you can't change that either.

This drama is worth watching. Both main leads played their parts perfectly. Everything was right about this KDrama... I loved the storyline.

This storyline was different for me. I just wished it wasn't so chaotic in the beginning, maybe it was just me not prepared to view it. It calmed down a bit so I wouldn't lose focus. I get it now. I will have to rewatch it so I can grasp it better than I did. I love the main lead actress and have seen her other dramas. There is a similar American movie that this drama reminds me of. I realized that Zhao Lu Si's character is a screenwriter and her falling asleep set the whole story in motion. ZLS did a good job... I couldn't laugh at all that happened because I was trying to figure out the storyline but I got it now. I absolutely loved the ending. If I was acting in this drama, I wouldn't know if I was coming or going... I know they were laughing a lot on set. Ding Yu Xi your facial expression told it all. I applaud you! Thanks to everyone... I need to rewind and rewatch. I am looking forward to part 2.

I love how the storyline began, but after the story started its twist and turns, I skipped over episodes and went to the last episode. In my mind, I knew what was taking place so it is not like I skipped then ran to the ending. I loved the main characters and they would've held my focus but it is not their fault. This drama was not for me. There was a lot of action but the romance severed which I didn't like is why I gave it a 7. The costumes were beautiful, and the set was great. It is hard for me to know that in the dynasty days that women were forced to marry someone that didn't love just for the title of Empress. I have seen this play out during the Renaissance period which is a small part of my DNA Hx.

This was a very cute drama. The only thing I disagreed with was the main leading actress, Yan Zhi Chao the character she played in. The producers/directors, I felt made her so immature like she was playing a child's role in the beginning episodes. YZC does have a face of a child with her age still being very young at 19. I thought she looks like a young child who was just too young for this role because of the storyline. Chen Jing Ke played a very mature role and he actually looked the part. I didn't feel the chemistry wasn't right at the beginning for CJK and YZC and felt that the role of Zhang Yin had better chemistry with YZC. The actress who played Jiang Jing had a better mature role for CJK. I am pretty sure they are all very good in their fields. The visuals and the sets were good. I am happy with this but not happy with this. This time I will rate the storyline.

This is a cute story regarding the age difference between the female and male lead. I believe that Age is only a number but my belief is not to date someone older than your eldest child that is if you have children. Ok, I got off target, I love the lead actor and actress, they made me emotional in their acting. I have a question for all those in South Korea, do the parents still control their adult children of whom they should marry or love and their career path? I love the storyline of this drama using music. That grand piano in black and red was simply beautiful. This is a re-watch for me but at a later date.
