I think if they cut the things from the first episode then the story wouldn't have been realistic they need to build up some background for the characters past or it would bhe have been to absurd.

Thanks for such a wonderful answer!! As a foreigner I am used to words which have a longer stretch while pronouncing them while for example turkish,hindi,english. In chinese dramas the chinese is too rapidly spoken and so many syllables are used in a single sentence that it's hard to distinguish between them , I learnt a lot of korean by just watching dramas and even japanese by watching animes but chinese I find it really difficult as I am not able to distinguish between words so can u recommend me any app or a website for learning chinese from beginner level? Thank you
P.S. I am not able to read any foreign languages except english ,I only understand korean ,japanese and little bit of turkish.

yeah but sometimes it can blend with this theme i don't know if u have watched cruel city or not but it also had a similar theme and NANA is too beautiful not have any romance drama under her bag that's why I desperately wanted it ti be the first one.

I watched this expecting there would be romance as initially it had a romance tag,I so desperately wanted a romance between NANA and CJH why did they remove it!!!!?!?!
I want NANA to act in some romcom next she is too beautiful not to be casted in a romance drama!!!!

Yeah me too, personally for me I don't like japanese dramas I tried to watch them but I can't like the male leads at all.

if u guys are hesitating to watch this drama just don't overthink and watch it,as a person who has watched the us version and still follows it religiously I love this drama and To be honest I really like PHS &GSH more than PHS & PBY.

I have watched the US verison and I follow it religiousky but this korean version is such a damn good adaptation of the original version that I was shocked,the bromance is actually in par with the original version even though original version had alot more episodes to develop it as compared to the korean version.
