you know, it's CX's choice to love FL. He loved her since they're young, but for her, CX's is just a cousin/brother. I didn't watch season2 since i know FL will end up with 2ML whom i don't like and agree he is weak and keep asking her to wait for him while he let his family screw up their relationship, but you know, i don't think CX deserves FL either. He said he wanted to be king because he wants the power to protect the people he loves, but he could simply do all of that by abandoning the throne and they go run off far away. It is still a choice whether he choses to be king or to be with her. He could have given up all of that for her too. How can he expects for her to marry him while he marries someone else for power? I don't like this reverse harem kind of drama. Also don't like FL for having a relationship with everyone. LOL I think all of these male characters should just find someone else to love since i really don't see what's so appealing about FL other than she's pretty but that's because Yang Zi is playing the character. LOL i don't know if the FL is actually pretty in the storyline or not.

Actually the first drama I watched of him when he was younger novaland castle in the sky. I thought he was so handsome lol. Now I just watch because storyline is good,
This is a male centric drama. Romance is minimal and FL has very few scenes. so you can just skip it.
You need to watch all the seasons to understand the story. I actually dislike stories without a heavy romance unless it’s an investigation, crime drama and I dislike politics drama too. This is about the only drama I can actually sit thru watching the whole series without skipping and rewatch multiple times despite it’s about a male journey and had politics in it. You should watch it. Storyline is very good and comedy isn’t cringy.

i think in the previous life their family was on the sideline and this life they're actually actively involved. I knew he was back the whole time so it wasn't too surprising to me. This whole time I treated him as if he knew all the things between ML and FL that's why he did what he did. if in this period, constant casual talks between differet gender is considered flirting then FL should be at fault too. You can't just blame SRQ for it since they both made the conversation regardless if it's about political or just regular talks. Also, ML is insecure about his relationship with FL and get upsets everytime. He could just leave, but he doesn't.
Why is SRQ irritating because he talks to someone he loves for 17 years? Do you find it irritating that PWX still pursue FL even though she denied his love or acknowledge him for 17 years and yet he still pursue her. Don't get me wrong, im pretty annoyed at the trio situation too but im annoyed at FL because she has the power to declined SRQ but she didn't. She could have accepted ML and trust him, but she didn't. She drag both guys along so i feel like she is the one to be blamed. Even when SRQ asked for her hand in marriage, she didn't immediately say no. Man her face look like she was thinking about her options and i find that super annoying.
When the Qin's case was brought up, the evidence was solid claimed Shangquang Ya and supposedly that's why her father fell for it could be that SRQ also thought the evidence was solid. It's not like this happened in their previous lives and SRQ knows for the fact that the Qin family is innocent. Maybe his action isn't 100% noble, maybe he could have dig harder for the truth, but he doesn't want to risk losing his family again. Man he's a sole surviver of his family. There's a survivors guilt so it's hard for me not to feel sorry for him. I think if his actions wasn't subtle and he actively frame ML and other people then I would find him evil, but at this point, i just feel sorry for him. That may change in the future when he is actually taking more actions against the lead since it seems like he started to collude with Consort Rou already.
