Ok so I have a theory for the ending of s1. I think fan xian and yan bingyuan has joined hands, it may actually be their well made plan to keep his family and friends safe. And notice how Wang qinian is always together with Fan xian but he was nowhere to be seen when FX was stabbed, WQ is great at light skills and he may have escaped by the order of FX so he could save FX later.
