really liked the main actress, really disliked the main actor. i usually watch dramas for the actors but this one i watched for the actress. the story is sweet, cant wait for the remake because it will have a good actor as the main lead lol
i haven't watched this drama yet but most chinese dramas are dubbed! :-)
no problem! if you're interested in knowing more about it, this article explains in depth why chinese dramas are usually re-dubbed: http://aminoapps.com/p/uaqd0z
its the only version of the story i've watched and i quite liked it. i tried watching the other versions, but tbh none of the male actors seemed handsome enough for me to believe they would be in f4 lol
it was my first c-drama and i liked it a lot (after overcoming the awkward cgi and voice-over...) the story always makes you smile and there is not much "unnecessary drama", which is great for a change.
While I really like this series and I also really like Zheng Shuang, I think her casting as Bei Wei Wei is a bit…
to chinese standards, she is considered REALLY pretty! all countries have different definitions of beauty - her skin is fair, she is skinny, she is kind of tall, her eyes are not small and she has a "tall nose"... this is what most chinese would think make someone pretty. (of course angelababy is also considered as pretty, but she is not as "pure", her vibe is much more "sexy" than zheng shuang, which i dont think fits wei wei at all...)
actually the reason why i dont rewatch things is because my memory is quite good, so i usually can remember almost everything, therefore i'm kind of afraid i'll get bored of it if i watch it again? :( also, my chinese is not so bad, so i think the subtitles wouldnt make so much of a difference to me if i rewatched it, but maybe i would be able to pay more attention to certain details i might have missed... where can i check out the "soundtrack with videos and subtitles" that you mentioned?
i finished watching it yesterday and now im so sad that its over :( i've never rewatched a drama but i'm considering doing it for this one because ugh, somehow i feel like an orphan now that the characters are "gone"? idk lol i watched it in less than 5 days and i didn't even realise how much i liked it until it was over (even though i didnt really like the last 5 eps so much)... im not ready to let it go yet so i might have to watch the "special edition" or the anime now... so far i've only been watching the BTS and some cast interviews but its not enough... waaaa i wanna get over it soon but dont know how, i just wanna talk about it to everyone i know lol if anyone has a drama recommendation that would help me get over this one pls let me know~
