Maybe it's because we've entered the winter season, but this show evokes a comfortable warmth when watched. I've come to think that the best, sentimental-y romance*, shows come out during the winter. *(not necessarily romantic shows, just sentimental shows that evoke the feeling with their camera work, melancholic scenery and more)
Is it wrong of me having wished all along the drama that he'd "fix his father"?
Watching the ending made me learn that there was nothing to fix, and that the plot wasn't necessarily about preventing the accident. It was more of a journey for HEG to learn to be thankful for what he has.
Gonna be honest, I think I would have preferred there be no "magic" or "time travel" and just be a coming of age story in a band setting which would have already been unique enough considering what's been released these past few years.
Also hold on, his parents are deaf. So how come in the time-travel they're... not? Were they not born deaf? Did they suffer in an accident? But then they have a son who's deaf- so is it congenital or was it also acquired?
Lots of questions that'll get answered eventually but I still think it would have been cooler just being a normal (no time travel) story.

(in my opinion)
Edit: I am actually unbelievably salty about the ending T_T

(also the plot is confusing as fuk)
I LOVE THEM ALL A LOT ALREADY.
I'm on episode 7 and I don't understand ANYTHING--- the synopsis is NOT helping at all!
