At the end of ep 10 , only the Haofang's Emperor knows his true identity and the Taoist monks . They came to arrest Ruocheng in order to take the dragon's gold (which he didn't have because he doesn't care about stealing money ) and then they used his fake identity as an excuse . The truth isn't revealed yet to the Xixuan sect and the 6 other sects so at the moment the news aren't spread. You have to wait until the release of ep 11 to take your answers. At the end of ep 10 the only people who know the truth are:
1) Zhang Yin Yin whom loves Rucheng and she'll not betray him
2) Gu Qing whom is in love with Rucheng and doesn't care at all if he's fake
3) Haofang's Emperor who only cares for the gold of the dragon
4) Taoist monks whom also only care for the gold of the dragon
And........No-one else !!!

For an orphan raised by thieves in the desert, Rucheng has a very good character. And as the story progresses, on ep 10 we see him sacrificing his lifespan to kill monsters and save people. He's deep inside a hero whom started from being morally grey. That's even more precious. I adore dramas with this type of main characters. Till the end of the moon was the same with Tan tai jin whom started as a demon lord and became a "saint"

Passionate

Personally, I like it. Male and Female lead are supposed to be "bad guys" but they are both kindhearted. They constantly put their lives on the line to rescue others and they love each other passionately. And yet the world doesn't seem to accept them . Tragedy is on the way.

It is implied from the trailer of the drama but so far there are no more clues. We only know he was an orphan and got adopted by thieves

There is always an explanation for everything if you actually pay attention. The "random girl" is an apprentice in the Xixuan sect. She deliberately drugged the male lead with a poison and then she pretended to be a victim of rape by him. Her master asked her to do so , so they can then accuse Rucheng for rape so they can quickly marry him with their apprentice and have him on their side. There are 6 different sects inside the Xixuan sect and all of them were fighting to get Ruocheng in their team because they were greedy for power. Rucheng knew that the female apprentice whom suddenly invited him into an isolated place had something evil in mind so he sent a message to Yin Yin to help him. Later when Rucheng was accused of sexual assault , Yin Yin pretended to be his girlfriend and the accusations stopped since the marriage with the apprentice could no longer take place (because he admitted being in a relationship with Yin yin in public). The Xixuan sect leader was sure all this was just a trap and he wanted to prove Rucheng's innocence no matter what so he used Yin Yin's entrance as an excuse and then quickly let him off because he announced his relationship with Yin Yin. No one else said anything because they were scared of Yin Yin and hers parents whom are powerful sect leaders as well. Yin yin came with a broom because she wanted to act like a "jealous wife" for the people to see and get convinced that she's in a romantic relationship with Ruocheng. Feel free to ask whatever you don't get. I'm on ep 10 and there are no plot holes so far

I think Rucheng is a small version of Tan Tai Jin (well not exactly....but you get the point). He's probably supposed to be an evil demon lord and that's sad because in his heart he's kind . He even sacrificed his lifespan to kill the demonic dragon and save the civilians. He's a good person. I know that he lied to everyone about being the fallen god but he did it to cultivate himself to immorality and help the weak. Since he took the role of the fallen god , he fully acted like one. He saved people, killed demons etc. He's not perfect but he's done a lot of good things and he never killed God Feng . He even denied to harm him in their life and death duel. Which led him to get stubbed in the heart from Feng What's even more sad is that Zhang Yin Yin will probably be haunted down and get executed by her own sect (xixuan sect) for being an "evil" fox demon.....when in reality she hasn't done something wrong either.

I saw Kiki for the first time at "Blooms at Ruyi pavilion" and she's not only beautiful but an excellent actress as well. She always plays strong women in her roles. 🙏😊

Two shocking things got revealed on ep 10 😨 The 2 thieves killed the fallen god (feng) because they were actually demons in disguise. Their original son got killed by the immortals in a war several years ago and they adopted Rucheng in order to find a way to use him for revenge. In the meantime they loved him like their own son but they still used him and pushed him to join the Xixuan sect. They wanted Rucheng to become the fallen God in order to gain power and favour the demons more than the immortals in the heavens. Rucheng was a "tool" in their hands. But Rucheng has different plans. He isn't siding with the demons at all. On that perspective he is a "failure" for his fake parents (the thieves). He aims to become a righteous immortal and he put his life on the line to save other people.
Ruchen risked his life to kill the demonic dragon (a beats that was killing civilians in the Haofang kingdom) and he sacrificed most of his lifespan to do so. Now he only has little time left to live. The Haofang's kingdom Emperor instead of congratulating Rucheng for killing the evil beast , he tried to arrest him with his army because he wanted to retrieve the dragon's gold. LOL
The supposed.... righteous Taoist monks also aimed for the dragon's gold.
People are corrupted in this drama. They all seem dissent on the outside but in their hearts but they are evil as well. Rucheng reveled the truth that he's a fake god to Zhang Yin Yin. She truly loves him and she supports him no matter what. People try to kill Rucheng not for his fake identity but for the dragon's gold.
Rucheng is forced to fight the fallen god Feng. In his final battle with the original god (Feng), Rucheng denied to kill the God and admitted he's the fake one and he said he never actually killed him . God Feng doesn't care about who killed him at all. He's jealous that Gu Qing loves Rucheng. Out of jealousy for Gu Qing , God Feng stubbed Rucheng in the heart. Gu Qing fell in love even more with Ruchen after this incident . God Feng believes that Gu Qing has to be with him no matter what but that's not the case. Gu Qing has every right to choose an other man and Feng shouldn't force her so much. Love is about allowing your "other half" the privilege to choose.
Rucheng never killed God Feng in the first place . He's not a murderer and he shouldn't be stabbed in the heart to death.
He's a better fallen god than the actual fallen god. The true fallen god never went to kill the dragon and he kills soldiers as if he's a phycho

I don't know. I'm on ep 10 at the moment and I haven't read the novel. It's just that the plot of the drama constantly becomes more and more sad for the main couple. They both seem to have no way out of this.

He's very heroic and kindhearted. On ep 9 that I just watched, he sacrificed his lifespan in order to kill a demonic dragon and save the civilians. He managed to kill the dragon and then the emperor of Haofang kingdom sent an army to arrest Ruochen! The emperor didn't care for his people whom kept dying from the dragon. He wanted to retrieve the treasures the dragon had. The people of Haofang kingdom and their emperor instead of being happy that a hero helped them to kill a demonic dragon , they tried to arrest Ruocheng to retrieve the dragon's gold (because they thought Ruocheng wanted the gold as well ). Poor Rucheng only wanted to help them and they thanked him with an arrest.... Lol

In this drama everyone is corrupted. The Taoist monks wanted the dragon's gold . The emperor of Haofang kingdom also wanted the gold. No-one cared about the dragon killing the people. And when finally the dragon died everyone still focused on the gold. Lol

Exactly. That's the point of the drama. And Zhang Yin yin whom grew up fighting demons is now a demon herself (because she was intoxicated as a child). Both Yin Yin and Ruochen are supposed to be "evil" but in reality they are kindhearted and they put their lives on the line to kill demons and save the world. The "world" on the other hand ... doesn't appreciate their efforts much

He only loves Zhang Yin yin. Have you watched ep 6 to 8 ? He proved it 1000 times

I remember when I watched the 1rst ep I was shocked that the main male lead is actually a liar and a murderer but soon I realised that he's innocent and kindhearted. Everyone bullied him , hit him or tried to kill him in the sect on ep1-5 and he never harmed anyone. He only wants 2 things....1)to cultivate and help the weak , 2) to find a cure for his beloved Zhang Yin Yin

I also love Ma tianyu and I've watched many of his works such as ice Fantasy, beauty private kitchen etc. He's good at tragedy and he always delivers his role. As for Angela baby ... despite playing a 20 yo woman, she's very convincing and gorgeous. I like both.
This drama is not from the most expensive shows but it has nice plot , nice acting and good script. The 1rst couple is the "bad guys " and the 2nd couple are the good guys . It's very refreshing. The 1rst couple has to die for the 2nd ( heavenly couple of immortals) to live and continue their lovestory of a million years.

Just have some patience in the first episodes because the real plot starts around ep 5 and the ep1-4 are dedicated to Rucheng training. So wait until ep 5 to start experiencing all the tragedy. The plot moves fast and I've never felt bored or skipped something so far

I haven't read the novel. All the informations I gave you were from ep1-8. This drama has so much plot that I only covered ep 1 to 8. Lol 😅
I've no idea what will happen next but I'm scared.... Probably all the sects will team up to kill (the now powerful) Rucheng and Yin yin
