People keep saying on forums that Tantai Jin isn't Ming Ye's reincarnation. Then why they have the same face ? I haven't read the book and I hope someone could enlighten me. This dream sequence can easily confuse people (myself included). Who is the "Tantai Jin devil " whom we saw in ep 1. Is it Tantai ? Is it Ming Ye ? And how are Ming Ye and Tantai jin connected if Tantai isn't Ming Ye's reincarnation? Please help

Hahah I feel you. I'm watching historicals all the time and I'm constantly seeing the same locations over and over again.🥴 The same buildings, the same towns /roads and palaces. Tiresome but the plot and the acting always make the difference .....

But we all know that most of the times China releases the trailer 2 or 3 days before the airing (which I found irritating). I liked so much the plot that I started reading the novel. It is very good and makes me even more eager to watch the drama. Vengo Gao is the perfect actor for the role of Sheng Zihen. What I wonder is if Nana will manage to play the role of the suicidal depressed blind girl successfully. Min Lan's role is very difficult. She has a dark phychology with constant thoughts of quitting life

Same here. I feel bored and want back the original Tantai Jin. I wanna watch his progress from evil to morally grey . I couldn't care less about this serpent dream and this pointless relationship between Ming Ye and Jiu. Great visuals but.... that's it. Nothing more to add. I'm tired of this arc

This serpent-side-story is a big filler. I wanna see the actual story and I wanna have them married as themselves 😰
Anyways .... when Ming Ye announced his 3 rules to Sang Jiu he should have made a 4th one (what happens if you like me)😜😜😜😜😜😜😜

But I love this drama anyway. I don't mind if they cut some things as soon as everything makes sense.

I just wanna get to the point that he dies and becomes the new version of demon lord. I wonder if he'll improve or if he'll remain the same. I hope he could become a normal immortal god like the others in the heavenly realm lol 🥴 I haven't read the novel but I really hope he could improve as an individual for Susu

Episode 10 was so fast-paced that I couldn't even process what was happening. Everything was smooth until the end of ep9 and then ep 10 was crazy as hell. I get it that they had to cut a lot but having him becoming emperor in 5 minutes was too fast

Poor Tan Tai Jin struggles with depression and has very good reasons to do so.
I like how his depression slowly fades away . In other dramas the characters recover instantly from emotional trauma. In this drama the healing has stages and happens gradually.
Give Leo Luo and Bai Lu an Oscar. I'm speechless from the superb acting. Also the production is verryyyyyyyyy expensive. The costumes, the locations, the cgi, everything is perfect. The plot is amazing 🤩
It's the most depressing Xianxia out there but I faqing enjoy it.
I guess I'm a masochist 😜
Tan Tai Jin being tortured again and again and again got me a little emotionally tired, I'm glad though that there are plenty of heartwarming scenes between him and Susu to sweeten the pain of this drama
