I just hope they won't overdo it with comedy and that they will keep the dark tone of the 1rst trailer they had released . In Vampire Diaries I was always fan of the more "serious" Stefan, rather than the childish and flirtatious Damon lol. So I hope the male lead will be a little serious as a character and also that the drama itself will be dark and serious, at some points at least. I don't want an other Rom-com. I prefer a thriller/ romance

Yep I totally agree. I'm at ep12 atm and Jiang Shao seems to have a more interesting personality than Xue Rong. Jiang Shao is kind hearted but also has some emotional scars. He's brave and always does whatever he wants to do and protects the ones he cares for , no matter the circumstances. Xue Rong "buries" his personal will to satisfy his father. Once again Aarif has a boring character as in Princess Silver lol.
Second male lead seems to be the main lead here. He totally has the character

I'm at ep12. No it doesn't have any brother- sister relationship at all. Not by any means lol. I don't know where the heck that tag comes from .
Anyways, it does have a sisterhood since the 2 sisters are close and deal with problems united as a family. Also it has strong the element of "friendship" since the 2 male leads are good friends from the past and they trust each other.

- And ....Yes the second couple is very cute. Jiang Shao is shy but cute and kind-hearted. He never harms someone without a reason and he's very protective and loving towards Fu Jin Zhan.❤
The younger sister ( Fu Jin Zhan) is basically a "tsundere" but I like her. The main couple is boring as F@qk. xD
I keep watching the drama only for the second leads since the plot becomes draggy after ep7. Thank God the second couple takes equal screen play time as the main one.

Besides the younger sister and her Stockholm syndrome (for her kidnapper), the drama doesn't have that much comedy. I'd say comedy barely covers around ~10% . Most of the time it has action scenes blend with plenty of romance and some palace politics. But it definitely isn't a rom-com or fluffy at all. ( Just my opinion only).

Aarif needs a chance to shine because Princess Silver's mediocre plot "harmed" all the actors who participated in it. He's a good actor and needs better roles and script. I hope this drama will have nice plot

In the trailer the second couple (Jiang Shao & Fu Jin Zhan) looks cuter than the main one. Lets hope that this drama will be better than Princess Silver lol

Hello! I've searched for a petition but i never found one sadly. FoE is so good that we even discus about it in the comment- section of an other drama lol ❤ xD
I hope people will keep supporting it and that the production team will make an other season. It's literally ThE BeSt DrAmA with the most cute and loving pair. The actors nailed it. I've no words! Perfect acting, almost perfect writing (except last ep) , perfect atmosphere/music, we can feel their love and chemistry in the air haha. It needs a season 2 !!!!

For his career those 2nd seasons should be very helpful. I mean ... people becoming so obsessed over his dramas, is always something positive. I bet that since FoE is so popular, Netflix will take its continuation . The same thing happened with other Kdramas like "Stranger". The 2nd seasons were always sponsored and produced by Netflix. They consider those dramas as guaranteed cash.

P.S. I've seen many dramas of Moon Chae Won and Lee Joon Gi. But now after watching FoE I can't stand to see them in deferent pairs . I always see them as a "couple" in my mind and I can't tolerate them being in different shows with different partners lol xD

So there is some hope for a 2nd season. Let's pray haha ❤ I've seen like....70 Chinese/ Korean dramas and this is literally my all time favourite. The perfect actors combined with the perfect plot !

Same here. I need a breathtaking dark/suspense/ romance drama to replace "Flower of evil" in my heart. But the truth is I'm never gonna find a drama as good as Flower of evil ! Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won nailed it and made me have high expectations from now on :'(

If "Tale of the nine tailed" is just an other silly rom-com and not an actual thriller/romance then I'm gonna be very disappointed...

This will be the perfect drama to watch , since the amazing "Flower of Evil" is now almost over ❤

Lee Dong Wook has those weird charming eyes. He almost looks like a real fox lol. ❤
He has the perfect appearance for this role and both actors have chemistry together !

MY REVIEW 8.5/10
( it's definitely underrated on kisskh since it doesn't deserve a 6.8) Let me explain....

It has romance/ action/melodrama , many emotional moments-- when people struggling to survive and eventually learn to help each other instead of just being selfish. All the characters have their back-story and complex personality. There is no black and white. Good people do mistakes in this drama but they do their best to fix them.


It's actually very good and feels 100% realistic. A modern doctor( our Dr. Jin) could never do too much to heal people at this era but he could definitely provide medical instructions and be a great help in case of a pandemic or perform a few surgeries . The romance is sweet , the time travel aspect is done pretty nicely (seems realistic). The male lead (Dr. Jin) is excellent in his role as a doctor (a very clever man, calm ,strong and brave ) and if he happens to feel insecure at some points, then female lead does her best to support him in every way. The side characters at first were suspicious of his revolutionary medical skills ,but soon they trusted him and later on they even put their lives on the line for him when it was needed. Dr Jin's greatest power isn't his modern day knowledge nor his medical skills but his kindness and humanity. He did mistakes in his past but he's willing to change , to be a good man , to support, to help and protect everyone in need. People around him get "charmed" from his kind personality in hard times.
I'm not a fan of time travel or medical dramas. I prefer normal Sageuk, but this one is an incredible combination with plenty of action !!❤

Well... I know it was a wrong movement. He cut the arm of his "brother" and betrayed his sect (which was basically his 2nd family) but at least he bought enough time for Shifeng to understand the trick and retrieve Linglong's spirit.
It was wrong and foolish. But they were all cornered and trapped there so he choose to sacrifice everything and join the demons. Linglong will be back to normal now I guess. But innocent people will suffer :'(

I was thrilled when Mingyan joined the demonic sect and Wu Tong in order to save Linglong !! Wow what a man lol.
It wasn't the best solution (he literally sacrificed everything) .... but at least he tries his best to protect her. ❤

I can't belive this is a Vengo Gao's drama and it isn't getting subbed instantly. Like wtf why ?!
Also Ma Yi Li is gorgeous in her role.
