Do you recommend watching this for someone who has seen few cdrama but LOVE historical kdramas?
Personally I think Chinese produce better Historical dramas than korean so go ahead for this or I would highly recommend for you to watch Another one which is Joy of life .
Immediately after L&R I watched this one but had to put it on hold cuz absolutely my heart couldn’t take to see Cheng Yi suffering like that! But I believe I will pick it up someday cuz I have liked it ..
She is not overrated.... this drama is bad, everybody says it's bad. Overrated would mean, this drama is bad but…
Very well said . I am one of those who likes her but this drama is really bad though I didn’t finish it cuz I was waiting the ending & to be fully subbed but reading the reviews here makes me so hesitant to pick it up again specially I have other options

Badly want to see YY in a new drama but apparently this one has been going on so much of talk to the point I started to doubt the script quality so I wish he would choose wiser as usual .
I can’t tell how much I am happy to have second season & then third one for this drama though I am someone who hate seasons but this is a very well written plot so I am keeping my faith in the sequel to be at least as good as first season
