I don't use a VPN but I never have before and I've never had any problems watching it on my computer.

Ive tried all of that. Now on my laptop after refreshing the page a few times I finally got it to play but its still not playing on desktop and settings are the same

is anyone having any problems watching videos on iqiyi, wether I have the site open in my browser or vis the app I can not get any video to play, it gets to the page where to the right is access to all available episodes but no video comes on, I have tried resetting the page settings and nothing. I can watch it through the app on my phone but not on my pc. I was starting to think it may be the site ie why im asking this question. If anyone has any advice as to whats wrong Id appreciate it. Also it was working fine until I updated my pc and since then its not letting any videos play.

Did it have English subtitles and if so where did you watch it?

do know for certain that all episodes have been subbed or are you going by what the host put? Because even though it says it has English subtitles episode 4 and up has no subs

I think kisskh should correct the site links they provide that say this show is available with subs on certain sites... Theres nothing more aggervating than thinking ill be able to watch a show that looks good with english subs only to click the link thats provided and find no subs at all or if there are any which theres usually not they are not in english. If I knew where I could learn how to add english subs I would considering that I mostly watch Asian Dramas, there are so many Id like to watch but cant because I dont understand the language. I thought about learning the language but wouldnt know what specific language to learn since there seems to be so many variations. Is there 1 specific language I could learn that would at least give me an idea of whats being said, even thats better than not understanding anything.Sorry for the long post I just needed to vent some aggervations about this topic.

Does Dong yi ever stand up for herself or put anyone in their place or does she always come across as someone who blindly believes and trusts everyone. I wanna see her be more than submissive door matt. Id be upset to watch this whole thing without seeing it her put her foot down or tell the bad guy like it is.

No shes not. If you look at the cast members and click on her Characters bio it tells you shes female.
