First time she goes back to present time, she didn't really change anything other than taking a picture with SJ because she left before her accident so in present time she's still wearing the watch. Second time she's not wearing it because SJ lost it trying to save her so there was no watch to buy plus she's not his fan. She only had it because the police gave it to her, but she never actually saw it until she went looking for it.

The police thought it was hers that's why it was given to her with her other stuff. If you look at episode 9 when we get the flashback of the fight. SJ is wearing the watch right when they start fighting but by the end of it he doesn't have it anymore because it came off.
First clue for SJ should've been the watch. The watch is supposed to disappear when Sol goes back to the present since younger Sol never owns it...BUT he was in shock and sad so it didn't click. Anyway, I understand why Sol did it. We have learn that she can't avoid getting attacked by the taxi driver so she did what she could to have SJ leave so he won't be there when it happens. But just like her attack can't be avoided, they also can't avoid SJ coming to save her. They need to catch him during the attack and since this time they finally know he's a killer not just a kidnapper he'll go to prison for many more years. Honestly the best solution is for him to die cause that way he will never hurt them again.

In all timelines taxi driver came after SJ in present time because every single time taxi driver was caught by SJ. If we look at the attack at the beginning of episode 9, as soon as the hotel door opens the taxi driver tries to put a handkerchief over SJ's face to knock him out but SJ fights back and ends up getting stabbed instead. My guess is that in the original timeline the taxi driver did the same and actually succeeded in knocking him out so he was able to throw him over the balcony because original SJ was probably tired after the concert and was also sad after seeing Sol again. While episode 8 SJ was strong, happy and energized because he was finally with Sol. It was never a suicide, but everyone thought he was depressed so they just assumed he took his own life. There wasn't even a sign of a break in because taxi driver had the master key.
I was glad to see that preview. They're usually misleading but in this case I think she truly is ending the relationship. HS will continue to be delusional and probably believe he'll marry her in the end. WR seems to already know it's a lie or at least suspects because it would he weird not to know where your future bride lives.
I just started the episode. HS didn't even propose again he just told everyone, in front of SJ, that she will agree to the engagement. Excuse me?? Does she not have a say in it?

I didn't watch any of the teaser or trailer so I didn't know what I was getting into. Episode 1 was definitely a surprise. I'm still not sure how I feel but I'll give it a few more episodes.

Us viewers recognize her but I think we're supposed to assume they are looking at a different face, but instead of changing the actress they're using the same one and we use our imagination.
