The moment they mentioned the rings I knew Faye was going to wear a matching one. I figured if the 3 of them wear blue ones everyone will think the gf was Faye not Liu, but she went as far as breaking all the other ones. I'm someone that would've made sure the rings I bought work before taking them with me.
Also, if I see Faye wearing the matching ring, I would've taken mine off right away because it would be very clear what she's trying to do. Instead Guy just let her come up to him and didn't stop her from saying a bunch of lies.
Liu, my god!!! Faye told her right to her face everything she has done to her and Liu was still begging her to continue being friends. They actually had Liu be completely clueless as to what Faye was doing.
The problem is it's not proven that his dad was the culprit . Perhaps he only took the blame for it. So it's not…
She had no suspicion at all about her husband cheating so why would she even go after him when it didn't even cross her mind. She found out about the affair after she got out of prison.
SY's father had already confessed to having killed her son so why would she think someone else did it? Why would it cross her mind that he would be taking the blame for someone else?
I don't like how the mom is going to use the grandpa. He's such a nice person and she's just getting close to him to get his money. I hope it doesn't go too far.
And ye the previews are reaaaly misleading i remember in the last episode of king the land sa rang said lets end…
Yes, I've learned to never trust a preview which is why I don't believe HI has turned against HW. Even if she's hurt by the divorce paper, she knows he's not the type of person that would actually hurt her family.
After we found out her illness was real many people seem to have forgotten the way HI treated HW and most turned him into the bad one. I agree that his reaction about her dying was not a good one but he had a miserable life to the point of pretty much telling his Psychiatrist it would be better to be stabbed than continue being in that family. HI may love him and defend him but she never did it in front of him. She kept rejecting him and belittling him in front of others at work. Even at home she was cold to him. It shouldn't be a surprise to her that he thought about getting a divorce. Yes, it will hurt her to find out because getting a divorce never crossed her mind, but she should be able to tell how on this trip he was being sincere. He came to her and apologized and showed her he wanted to be by her side. I know it would be difficult for her to trust him now, but should still give him a chance to explain and give him the benefit of the doubt.
As for the preview I feel like its misleading us. The voice over in the preview didn't show the actual scene where they were from. When HI says "Stop playing. You disgust me." and "You will be kicked out mercilessly" I feel like she's not saying that to HW. In the car scene where she's jealous, the way she said it feels like the scene at the train stop where they are still on good terms but she's jealous about his first love.
What I'm hoping for: HI lets HW explain himself. HW comes clean about everything. He tells her he was happy for a moment about her dying which will hurt and she won't forgive him right away, but she eventually will (while still in Germany). That conversation will lead to what's happening back in Korea. HW will tell her what he's suspecting and by then his friend should've sent him the videos of his dashcam and HWHI will look at them together. They'll both be suspecting ES of trying to frame HW and will come up with a plan to stop him. HWHI will make everyone, including us viewers, believe they're fighting and aren't talking just to later reveal in a flashback that they've been working together all along to stop ES and the other villains. I know that won't happen, but one can hope.
Oh! Forgot to say...after that scene between the brother and his wife, I have a feeling she'll end up truly falling for him and turning against ES.
Just finished the episode. It was a good enough start for me to continue.
Every time I saw the FL's mom with the grandpa I kept thinking someone was going to start a rumor about them being in a relationship. I didn't truly pay attention at the trailer that was released a few days ago but looking at the preview I think the mom might actually try getting with the grandpa because of his money. I hope I'm wrong cause he's such a nice person.
They did hint at ML being adopted and the preview confirms it, but it looks like his mom doesn't know her friend is the biological mother. Wonder what happened there.
I can't believe the FL's mom is the same actress from TRHC. I mean, I already knew she was in this drama but she looks completely different. It's a whole different vibe.
I've seen other dramas from the FL and the 2 young actors, but this is my first drama of the ML. Let's see how it goes.
I get SY wanting revenge, but he's taking it a little too far. I'll say it again...let's say it turns out his dad didn't kill her son and he got paid to take the blame, as a dad of a son who had heart problems, he could've felt bad for SH1 losing her child and apologize to her. Even if it wasn't his fault, it wouldn't have hurt him in any way to try to comfort her. Even if he didn't kill her son, he was helping the real killer get out of jail and prevent the grieving family from getting justice. He willingly helped the killer so the least he could've done was apologized. Instead every word out of his mouth was said to cause her more pain. A good person wouldn't have done that to someone who just lost their son. An apology is all she wanted and he would still be alive if he had given it.
does anyone know the airing schedule on viki in the uk bc the first ep comes out tomorrow?
My experience with weekend dramas is that it usually takes around 8 hours to get subs. So for me the raw episode is available Saturday morning, but the subs are out until late afternoon.
I haven't watched the episode yet, but I saw a clip where SH1 finally met MK. I'm guessing that she'll try to get close to him and become his guardian just like she started to do with SY. My toxic side is hoping to see some jealousy from SY's side. No, I don't mean in a romantic way, but in the he's obsessed with getting revenge and he wants/wanted to become someone precious to her to hurt her, but now there's someone else taking that attention from him kind of way. I know it's not going to happen. But anyway! I do hope MK ends up helping her.
I know some think that maybe SY's dad is innocent and just took the blame but that doesn't change that he was an a$$ to SH1. It doesn't take away all the hurtful things he said to SH1. How he showed no sympathy for what she was going through. If he was a good person he would've at least felt bad for her.
To be honest, I don't regret watching it. Episodes being less than 30 minutes made it easier to watch while I was having dinner.
Although I hated many characters and I would come here to complain, it didn't stop me from watching it. As frustrating as it was, it still kept me entertained. Honestly, this was nothing compared to all the drama I've seen in Mexican novelas.
