What I don't like about revenge dramas where it's one lead taking revenge on the other lead is that they always end up giving in pretty quickly because their feelings get in the way and they just can't hurt that other person. In this case she has every reason to hate him. I better see her stick to getting her revenge, at least until the last episodes cause after everything he did he deserves it. I better not see her falling for him soon after reuniting.
The King betrayed her trust. I know all eyes are on him but he had the power to help her escape while they were all on their way and fake her death. Instead he abandoned her, her friend and all the other innocent people to get flogged 100 times (imagine how painful that is) and do hard labor for 3 years. How can I possibly want them to end up together?

Ep 2 was a lot better than ep 1 for me.

It's sad how JW's supposed best friends, who have been with him for so many years, were one of the first to turn on him while HN, who is his school rival and hasn't seen him in years, actually believes him because she knows the kind of person he is. I was also thinking DY was going to be another character that will create problems for JW, but it turns out he cares for him and worries about him. Looking forward to seeing that turn into a closer friendship. Once everything is solved, I'm hoping he doesn't take back those 2 "friends"

I'm still not fully hooked yet. I know these kind of dramas have political stuff, but this one has a lot more of it so I'm having a bit of a hard time getting through the episodes. I'm not giving up on it cause I think it's going to end up being a good one.

ML and FL are not siblings. As for romance, he has already fallen for her and she's attracted to him. They both keep thinking about each other. There's definitely chemistry and sexual tension between them.
There's also feelings developing between the SML and the FL's friend.

YJ is insane. To put all the blame on JW when she knew she was drugged. She should've gone after her ex instead, he's the disgusting person in all of this mess (and whoever he was talking on the phone with)

In the preview he seems to be hiding from both YH and her mother in law. Plus from what we've seen his personality seems very different from her brother's

I love jealous SH, couldn't help but find him cute. How happy and relieved he was to find out YH was not the suspect's lover. Aside from the jealousy, he truly is worried about YH cause she keeps putting others first before her own safety. Things could get really bad for her, not only because of what she's doing, but because of who she is.

SH has been hinting at YH that he knows who she is but she didn't catch on until now that he was a bit more direct. Glad that she now knows he has known her identity for a while and hasn't exposed her, instead he's been helping/protecting her.

I love how their relationship is progressing. I was not expecting this much chemistry and sexual tension between them, I absolutely love it! I know this drama is not focused on the romance, but hopefully they won't leave it just for our imagination cause we can't let this sexual tension go to waste. At least give us a good kiss and a morning after YH looking very happy and satisfied 🙈🫣. Sorry, that epilogue fueled my imagination 🤭

Anyway! I agree with others that the new character might be her husband which means she's not a widow, but she's still married and a divorced woman is still not allowed to remarry, if I'm remembering things correctly. BUT since they didn't even have their wedding night, it might be easier to get the marriage annulled which means she'll be completely free to do whatever she wants.

It was a good start. So far it's not one of those dramas where I'm excited for the next episode, but it's one I'll continue watching cause it kept me entertained.

I will say BH is perfect for this role.

Drunk Suho is very cute. Very vocal about his "I'm dying to know. What kind of person she is." But still protected her identity no matter how drunk he got. We also got a little bit of jealous SH cause he thinks the secret lover of the suspect is YH. We might see a little bit more of it since she'll go to him to try to help get him out of prison.

Epilogue: YH's mother in law just gave her the green light to do much more than the other widow 😏. If SH grabbing her arm made her blush imagine her reaction when it's much more than that. Go get that officer, YH!
