I watched it because of LJS's statement. I think LJS did a great job portraying a man in a one sided love but sadly the fl didn't do it for me. There wasn't really chemistry between them. She's the one that felt like she wasn't even trying (in the romance part). Even the kisses were lacking. You could see he was putting the effort but not her. Anyway, I'm still giving it a 9 cause I did like the story.
It was a good ending. I'm glad they gave us a happy ending for all the characters. For me part 1 was better than part 2. There were some things I wish were different, but overall I'm happy with how things ended.
Alchemy of Souls (both parts) have become one of my favorite dramas. I'll definitely miss it.
I really like ep 8, we got a little bit of everything.
So Rang rejecting Heon. Heon finally realizing he's in love Heon glowing (I couldn't stop laughing) Heon planning out how he's going to confess So Rang wanting to leave the palace So Rang and Heon confessing their feelings Shi Won in between all of that finally letting go Happy moments between our couple.
Then of course we had to get a tragic moment. Shi Won can't use his arm anymore so he won't be able to protect Heon or So Rang.
Looks like Shi Won will finally know that So Rang knew he was the person she was going to marry. I'm guessing he will be the one to give her back her identity and with her taking her name back she will be able to marry Heon and become the Queen...because right now she's a maid and not able to marry him.
I had been waiting for Uk to find out she's Naksu and I guess I was expecting more. We all knew JM wasn't going to die so not surprised on what happened. I also suspect PJ and KDJ would die and sadly I wasn't wrong.
I won't be able to watch the final episode right away so I'll try to avoid spoilers. I wouldn't be surprised if Naksu and/or Uk die. But I have a feeling the CP might die too.
I think Heon doesn't truly know what being in love is. Heon loved the Crown Princess, but I don't think he was ever in love with her. Loving and being in love are different. He never actually got to experience what being in love with someone feels like. From what they showed the Crown Princess was somewhat cold to him, only doing her duty so it was mostly one sided. Now, he met So Rang who is completely different from the Crown Princess and any other women he has met. They're getting to spend time together and they're getting to slowly know each other. The way I see it, he's falling IN love for the first time which is why he doesn't know what it feels like...until the last scene of the episode where it finally clicked. He's finally realizing and accepting his love for So Rang but now the challenge will be to convince her that his feelings are real. That he loves her and only her.
Chona 🙈🙈🙈. Finally he kissed her, not like his kisses on shooting stars but at least it’s something
Yes, we know he can kiss. So far their 3 kisses have been stolen so maybe when they both are finally together and have accepted their feelings the kiss will be more passionate.
I couldn't stop laughing with ep 8. This is actually what I've been waiting for. Noey is finally over Pam and going after Thi. I was so looking forward to his flirting/courting and he didn't disappoint me...we even got to see him jealous.
I'm loving both couples so much and I'm loving the friendship between the 2 fl. I wish we had more episodes cause I'm already sad it's ending next week.
FL blaming her dad for her brother's death i think it's not her dad's fault it's just a misunderstanding. I think…
From what I understood the dad left them so they both had to start working at an early age to survive. I don't think they mentioned how he died but from their talks he became a driver to be able to earn money...he probably died in a car accident. Then the dad comes back for the funeral so she gets angry. So probably in her mind it's the dad's fault because he left and her brother had to become the man of the family.
To be honest I didn't pay attention to what this drama was going to be about, the only thing I knew was Lee Da Hee and Cha Eun Woo were in it and that was enough for me to know I was watching it. So far I'm liking it. It kept me entertained and I actually liked that it has some comedy in it.
I was glad to see Sang Soo put some distance between him and Soo Young because he believe she has a boyfriend. Mi Kyung faking not knowing how to ice skate didn't bother me like it did others. I don't see what's wrong with it. I've seen similar things done many times and it wasn't taken in a negative way. Now, do I think she's truly a good person? Not really cause it does seem like she's only getting close to Soo Young because she can see Sang Soo is interested in him. As for the last scene...they only showed a few seconds of him running and then pausing so we honestly don't know what really happened. Maybe he hesitated, maybe he saw something, we don't know. It could all just be a misunderstanding so I'm going to wait until they show us what happened.
I just finished the last episode and I don't know what I'm feeling. I liked the drama so I'm giving it a good rating. The ending is the one that leaves me with mixed feelings.
