I liked this drama from beginning to end. I did suspect early on who Yoon Jae was but when it comes to Sung Hoon there was always a part of me that wanted to believe in him.
Sung Hoon might have planned everything but if I understood correctly they were only going to hurt one person (crazy dog's daughter) but Yoon Jae got carried away with the revenge and killed so many others. I guess Yu Na got too close to Sung Hoon and Yoon Jae didn't like that so she ended up a victim too.
To be honest with everything those boys went through I can see why they wanted to get revenge. It might be crazy but part of me wanted them to get away with it. I'm even sad Yoon Jae died, he could've had a life sentence just like Sung Hoon and that way the brothers could be together.
The very last scene hurt me. Seeing all the boys happy and seeing what could've been if only the adults had taken care of them like they were supposed to.
But anyway! I still liked it. Yes, some things could've been different but it still kept me entertained.
And theres one thing I dont understand. Arent all the grand princes the same mother and father? Why did young…
To protect him the Queen sent him to live outside the palace so he didn't know he was one of the grand prince until years later when he met the CP. Later he was taken back to the palace and that's how the rest of them found out they had another brother.
Is the Queen's court lady not a traitor?. In an earlier episode she was reporting to the queen dowager about the…
She's not. The Queen knows she reports to the Queen Dowager because that's part of their plan to survive in the palace. The Court Lady also doesn't tell everything to the QD.
No!! It's over!! I got sad with that last "See you tomorrow" but then we got that extra moment at the end. I'm definitely going to miss it. It was a great drama from beginning to end.
I'm a little behind...I just finished episode 3. I like how this is more realistic. She had a relationship with Sou and she truly loved him, but then got her heart broken. As the years went by she was able to move on and fall in love again. Seeing Sou again doesn't mean she automatically stops loving Minato and falls in love with Sou again so I understand why the series focuses on her relationship with Minato. I think of it as Sou being the second lead as of this point in the story and then things will change as the story goes on.
I understand how Minato is feeling. He was Sou's best friend and he left him. He didn't trust him enough to tell him what was going on. He was also hurt too, maybe even more than Tsumugi.
I do have a question in case anyone here knows Japanese. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it or if it was just the way it was translated...but when Sou waits for her after work and they're talking there's a moment where he says "Minato...is that what you call him?" Did she use a term of endearment when she was referring to Minato? Is it one that she use to call Sou when they were dating?
I think by now the majority of us already knew TY's dad had used the golden spoon before that's why he could sense when SC and TY switched so it wasn't that big of a reveal.
I don't see why many still want SC to end up with YJ when he has zero romantic feelings for her. Not even a little bit. Even those passionate kisses between them looked so awkward.
I guess out of revenge for SC kissing JH, YJ will make his dad eat with the golden spoon so he can know what SC did...which is going to devastate him. Hopefully the dad doesn't have a tragic ending.
I know some don't like this kind of episodes but I love them because we get to see them happy and in love.
With this episode we finally have madam Yoo and Ji Eun out of the way. Yes, there's still in the story but at least they're not trying to break them up anymore. Hae Jin is also pretty much out of their lives (yes I know he's still trying to help Sang Eun). So now we only have the brother trying to create problems.
Gwang Nam giving tips to Sang Eun was funny. I honestly love their friendship.
I've said it before and I'll just say it again...I think Hae Jin and Ji Eun are going to end up together.
Ji Ho continues to make me fall in love with him. He's very cute when he's drunk. I love how he continues to ask for advice in the chat when they always end up calling him names.
I absolutely loved the last scene of ep 14. To know he had changed his mind about the contract right away but as soon as he had dinner with her he wasn't able to let her go. He had been so lonely until she came into his life that even food started to taste delicious.
"Don't go. I don't want to stay apart from you. Could you...stay with me tonight?" Oh my god I felt that!
We have 2 episodes left so please let them be happy!
I did like the second couple but I do agree their acting wasn't the best. Their facial expressions didn't change much throughout the episodes.
I've seen Ju Yeon and Ji Hoon in other dramas and they are the reason why I started watching this one. They didn't disappoint me at all. I fell for their characters. I went through all the emotions as I was watching their story. They have great chemistry and I hope we get to see them together again.
I didn't know anything about the story before I started watching it but right from the start I knew this would be painful and I tried preparing myself mentally but it still hurt.
I cried so much when So Mang and Ha Min are "reunited." The tears would not stop when he started talking about that day. It was a very bittersweet ending.
Our Ji Ho always worrying about Sang Eun and prioritizing her before himself even though he's the one injured. She has finally found someone that will be by her side through everything and will always protect her.
Love how she decorated the hospital room and brought him new pjs and bedsheets so he could be more comfortable.
The scene where Ji Ho's boss went to visit him made me emotional. He truly does care about him and like he said he will not listen to anyone else, he will trust what he has seen with his own eyes. He can see that Ji Ho and Sang Eun truly love each other.
Hahaha Ji Ho's reaction when Sang Eun said she would be cooking everyday for him plus the background music. Gwang Nam laughing cause he knows how messy Sang Eun is.
Hopefully now that Hae Jin has given up he will finally change and not be so childish.
Car scene: Ji Ho!! Why are you so cute!?!?!? I just love how we get to see him smile now. He has such a cute smile that makes me want to hug him.
Madam Yoo in the dark guarding both rooms to make sure they don't sleep together 🤣 To be honest it never crossed my mind that she could be her real mom, but I'm not surprised.
Sang Eun sneaking into Ji Ho's room...aww I'm loving this episode. We've gotten so many sweets moments between them.
Hmm...maybe now that madam Yoo knows he's a judge she won't be so against their relationship. If she truly does love Sang Eun then she can see how happy she is with Ji Ho and that he's able to protect and take care of her.
I hate Hae Jin's brother. Now he'll be the one creating problems.
Our wonderful Ji Ho wants to protect madam Yoo too because he knows Sang Eun cares about her.
Aww...Jamie finally got close to Hae Jin.
So lets have Hae Jin end up with the ex wife that way they have a happy ending and they'll finally leave our leads alone.
I was never a fan of Hae Jin but I didn't want him to give up his career and go back to a family he doesn't want to be around.
Can someone explain what was the point of Dongjoo having the story of the victim told on the radio?
The victim sent the story to the radio so they were the only ones who could see it and read it. So by having them read it on the radio she will be able to know what the letter said and get the clue as to where the husband was.
Since Cheer Up didn't air today I decided to just go ahead and watch this one. It was cute and it kept me entertained. I wish they could've given the Queen Goblin a happy ending too, but I know with how short the episodes were there wasn't enough time.
I've seen mixed comments about the ending. To me it seems like they are no longer in a romantic relationship. Yong Joon said they don't see each other that often and they sometimes talk on the phone. Yong Joon went through so many things during the time Soo Hyun was in the hospital. He's not the same person he was before the accident. Everything he experienced changed him which is why things are not the same between him and Soo Hyun. Things are awkward now. Of course there's still some hope that somewhere in the future they can be together again, but first they have to get to know each other all over again.
When the 3 of them were together again at the end it felt to me like the mom was closer to Yong Joon than Soo Hyun. She was very sweet and caring to him and at moments it looked more like Yong Joon was her son and Soo Hyun the friend. They bonded over everything that happened. I'm glad to see Yong Joon has a mother figure again. So now that it seems she has accepted what happened between her "sons" she might be the one to help them get back together.

Ji Ho's boss from Love in Contract is Na Rae's dad!! Wish he could've been in more episodes!!
