Is there a schedule out for the remaining episodes? Not watching the express package cause of the bad subtitles. I'll rather wait and after reading some comments about how it ends I'll rather take it slow than watch the remaining episodes back to back.
Never heard of this drama before but today it showed up 3x for me because of the official release date. I don't know the leads but many seem very excited. Looks like it'll be a busy weekend with 3 of my dramas ending and 2 new ones starting
I haven't watched today's episode but last I saw no one knows she was taken. Hanmei took control of her place so as far as everyone knows, she's still there.
that was what i was thinking watching the recent ep. everyone is in love with the Chu siblings at least Chu Yu…
I actually understand all 3 of them. You already mentioned the reason for CY to reject him. It's definitely going to be difficult because everyone believes she married out of love. LY is not planning on staying in this town and if QP marries him she would end up having to give up the life she has right now and go live far away in an area that's not the greatest. But this is something he should discuss with her so that she can decide if she's willing to go and leave her family. As for CJ she doesn't want to marry someone that will go risk his life fighting battles. We have to remember she already lost her father so she knows what it's like. The constant worrying that WC might not come back. The difference here, from her brother, is that she already had this conversation with WC and he promised her he wouldn't go into battle but at the first opportunity he broke his promise. Now he's saying this is something he wants to continue doing so if they want to be together one of them will have to give in. There's nothing wrong with her wanting a husband that will stay safe by her side.
Ok so she kissed the right twin, the one she likes, and DY saw them. Then DY goes to her room at night to take her to the place she wanted to go. During one of the flashbacks of that scene the subtitles has it as "I like You" while in Korean she said 좋아해 (hopefully I spelled that right). If I remember correctly in Korean the word 좋아해 is used to say "I like You" or more like "I like." That's probably why DY took a step towards her cause it can be interpreted as a confession to him. When the flashback goes back to that same scene at the end of the episode the subtitles changed to 'I like someone' and soon after she says it again but now adding DH's name that's when it finally becomes more clear who she likes. So I'm going to take a guess that she knew DY liked her too and left because she finally confessed it's not him she likes. Then he ends up dying and DH knowing how guilty she would feel thinking she might be responsible because he left after her confession decides to lie and act like he's DY.
Speaking from the novel's perspective, I don't remember the name in the novel though, but if I am not confusing…
If its the same character then it'll be interesting to see how they redeem him to be able to get them together cause right now it's not looking good for him.
Most comments I'm seeing are about something else from the drama so many might not care but.... Was it just me that felt like something might happen between pregnant sister-in-law and injured/bad guy? At the same time to me it seemed like she recognized him and that's why she mentioned which family she's from but she's just acting around him and her family that she has no idea who he is. So I could be completely wrong and just seeing things because if she does know him than there's no way she would fall for the person that was involved in her husband's death.
First episode was ok, but not much to get me excited for the next episode. This is only the start so things might change. For now I'll continue watching cause I like both leads and they seem to have good chemistry during the promotion and bts so hopefully I'm able to see it in the drama too.
I kept hearing about this drama and I decided to finally watch it. It took me a little longer than I thought, not because I wasn't interested but because I have so many other dramas I'm watching I didn't have time to binge watch this one.
I did enjoy watching it but I can't deny how frustrating it was to see the FL always jumping to the wrong conclusion after saying she trusted him (over and over). It honestly felt like her priority was other people and helping them except the ML. He had already suffered so much his whole life and she kept breaking his heart.
You could see and feel just how strong his love was for her and I wish they could've done the same for her because for the majority of time, for me, it felt very one sided.
How I wish they could've shown us everyone finding out he saved them instead of thinking he was the Devil Lord who got defeated.
So...500 years went by and their daughter still looks like a kid, is there a reason for that? Or did I miss something?
I love the chemistry between Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi. I had already seen them together in Love is Sweet so I knew I would eventually watch this one. I was just preparing myself mentally for the ending which I had already gotten spoilers from, that's why it took me a while to start it. Even knowing the ending, I still cried. Hopefully we get to see them together again with a happy ending.
Anyway! It was enjoyable even with the frustrating moments. I'm glad I can finally mark this as completed.
