It was a good first episode, but I'm already sad that he's going to die. I didn't watch the trailer so I don't know how it'll happen but my mind is already thinking of an accident where everyone will assume he died and many episodes later when she's already with the male lead, her husband will comeback. Dramas like accidents and the amnesia plot. I'm probably way off but I don't want to watch the trailer so I don't spoil anything.
For a while I've been looking forward to the scene where JH will find out his father caused the death of DS's father. Thinking it would be a big shock for him and it would make him realize why DS would never accept him. In my mind it would be a sad scene for him. Now it's different cause JH is deep into his evil side so him finding out that truth won't change anything. He has become obsessed with taking DS back when her heart was never his.
I don't think MH is dead. I feel like she will be making a comeback, maybe by the end of ep 14.

She's not going to be mad at him, but all this time she has "hated" her dad for leaving her all alone. She needs a little bit of time to digest the news. Right now is more her inner conflict about being happy with EH when her dad died saving him.
Everything will be ok. Of course it's going to be a shock for her. I don't think they'll break up, she just needs a little bit of time to digest the news. If I'm remembering correctly I think we still have that scene from the trailer where they're hiding and she kisses his hand/fingers. Anyway, I think by the end of ep 10 everything will be back to normal and happy times.
I will say, if you have time, always check the day before a new episode if there's a change in schedule that way you're not as disappointed as finding out the day of.
And in case you don't know. Next week we're also getting only one episode.
GH's dad is a bit dramatic but whatever. We'll probably get more details tomorrow about what happened with DS's dad. Since we saw GH's dad finding DS's dad bleeding I'm going to take a guess that maybe DS's dad was helping him with a case (maybe he witnessed something) and ended up getting stabbed for it so GH's dad feels guilty about it. I could be wrong, but I'm sure he didn't kill him, he's just feeling guilty.
I'll be honest, GH surprised me by not giving up the project with Holly. I thought she would once again give in.
Audrey makes me want to pull my hair, but I'm already losing too much of it so have to control myself. She's an adult but still wants to listen to the chairwoman. She has already lost everything that could be important so why not take the risk and actually open her mouth and explain everything to DS. The more she stays quiet the more he'll think and believe the worst of her.
At this point I welcome scenes of MG and JN spending time together because I want him to cheat already so I can see GH suffering by the life she chose.
Of course they were going to have DS only listen to the bad side of the conversation. Now he's going to have a worse image of his mom than he already had.

Is it bad that I want MG to continue cheating on GH? For her mil to continue treating her badly? I just want her to quickly realize that marriage was not the correct decision and to get her a$$ out of there.
Haven't watched the episode but seems like I was right when I explained how Friday's preview could mean she did marry MG and not that she rejected him.
Even with all the annoying and frustrating moments, I continued watching and I don't regret it. GJ was the only likeable character for me and yet I was glad to see all of them getting their happy ending.
I think this is my 5th weekend drama, but the 4th that I watch while it's ongoing. Every time I finish one, I keep saying I won't watch the next one cause I need a break and yet the week after I find myself starting the new one and it'll probably be the same again. So if any of you are watching 'For Eagle Brothers' next weekend, I'll see you there.
JH is accusing EH of liking DS only after finding out she is a woman. We all saw how JH was the one that kept teasing EH since the very beginning about liking DS. He was the one that kept trying to separate them once he found out DS was a woman because, again, he saw EH was interested. JH was actually the one that started liking her after finding out she was a woman and didn't want to see EHDS together.
I'm really hoping it's all JH's plan to make us believe he's going against EH. I want him to find out it was his father who hurt DS the most. I'm also hoping SR doesn't turn on them.
As for the romance, it has always felt one sided. There were some quick moments where DS seemed a bit interested but not enough to say she has feelings for him. It's been mostly EH who we have seen falling in love. I also know BIH and KJE know how to kiss so this first kiss between EHDS was a bit lacking. I understand DS has never dated anyone but they were both just standing there very awkwardly touching lips. Hopefully if there's a second one, it'll be better.
I've already seen GJ play a villain in Bitter Sweet Hell so once JH turned evil, I knew he would do a great job at it.
