i see ppl saying that film is better than series, and wow its so weird bc i actually think that the film was kinda…
The series has better cinematography. I would just say they were different and not compare them neck and neck (as the actual storyline was very different.)
Please understand guys. This is an adaptation series. It is loosely based on the movie but it's a standalone story.
I watched the movie first, yet I have no issues watching this series. At first I listened to the reviews and almost missed out. It is actually not a bad series. If you're seen the movie, still give this series a chance. Pretend you're watching a different series with just the same named characters.
I am floored thus far by this show. I am currently on episode 6.
The women power in this show is simply fantastic. They even featured a black woman in a powerful position. Goodness gracious... this show is breaking all types of barriers in K-Drama world.
This is the first K-Drama that I have watched that immediately passed the Bechdel test (Google it if you don't know.)
This was actually a good short film. I think the low ratings might be due to some Thai customs which appeared in the film which would go over the heads of those of us not in that culture. That being said the film is only about 16 mins long. If you're reading this.. go ahead and watch it. @Geanina linked it bellow.
It announced the other cast members (I couldn't add them above as I guess they're not on MDL yet... perhaps new actors?) 2 female and 3 other male actors.
I know that it is best to watch every episode prior to actually making a judgement on a series but I too could not get pass episode 8.
Although I don't mind spoilers so I knew what to expect and that there will be cheating in this season... what actually transpired turned me off majorly. I just felt personally wronged. Perhaps it's my bias and ship of Korn7Knock that made this so strange to me.
I think the first angle with Knock would have made more sense in my head, especially after the dog walking scene, but I just could not continue watching after what actually transpired. Why Korn.. whyyyy!???? We were rooting for you, WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!
That being said... Curiously I satisfied myself with watching the ending clip on youtube instead to maintain my sanity LOL The acting was on point, the chemistry was on point... the script although was fine, I still was left with so much disappointment.
I'll just go watch Sotus so I can feel better... ugh

Forth is so hot, that neck tattoo is like everything!
Ming is still my favorite so far.
