I guess he always stands out wherever you put him <3 I now started to watch Catch A Ghost and surprisingly I am enjoying the show not only for him but also for the good humour and story <3

If I were in Korea I will definitely go to TvN's office and start a riot in front of the office :v count me crazy but why do they will play with audience emotions who invest their time and emotion into their shows ???????? isn't it insulting ? that all we have to do is to clowning ourselves over and over :/

This world is filled with hatred now I guess! There are people getting angry over characters so much that they are threatening each other LOL !! Are they forgetting the same writer wrote both characters ? #HanJiPyeong or NDS both were created by the same writer. And I believe at first the writer also felt more connected and balanced with her HJP character so she wrote it beautifully throughout .Han Ji-Pyeong is a character who is at times stubborn, kind, logical, knows hardship of life, even selfless when it comes to his close ones. He does everything with logic and heart in it where NDS is a character who is also a strong representative of some of today's youth who are insecure, has low steam even if they are genius. Our female lead had hardship but was still stubborn to win life, also the same youth we have in our real world. In Jae is a person who is practical and wants a good life for herself without regretting anything as I am sure she also sometimes misses her real father not having a life with him. You see, every character is human here, they all are somehow relatable but what we are seeing is a lack of storytelling and character developments in Start-Up. And it all started when the second main lead got more popularity and appreciation than the main lead. Power is a big issue everywhere even in creative places like entertainment business. Where creativity is also overshadowed by power. If you know ! You know, right ?
First power thing: Nam Joo-Hyuk is already a star in Korea, way more popular than Kim Seon Ho so he getting more appreciation is quite a insult for a star but I didn't get the theory isn't people are not liking Nam Joo-Hyuk character itself a complement that means he done a good job to portraying the character so well that no one wants to be Nam Do-san and never encounter with someone like him???
The second power: Channel’s or producer’s pressure on writers to make changes or things they wanted to work on their way. We often see that can be a big issue otherwise how come a well written story at the beginning changed all over sudden?

Now what we are seeing is not wanting to write an essay but we have to write one so that the teacher can give a mark and finally I will be able to finish my semester. Here the drama story needs to end so they are making everything in a rush and also without connecting the story to the main plot. The main plot was to grow with life, have dreams, ambitions and an old school fashioned love story through letters. First two episodes were so well written I loved every bit of it. Finally another fresh story in Kdrama rather than love triangle cliche love story. Itaewon Class and Record of the Youth was so good in terms of having dreams, struggling and still able to win life. Thought this Start-Up also be the same and I got so disappointed that even if I love Han Ji-Pyeong can't stand the story and injustice to him as a character and as well as an actor’s true potentiality to come out. I know Kim Seon-Ho will rise eventually, he will be loved more in near future because you know hard work never fails anyone. With all love for #KimSeonHo and #HanJiPyeong I will not support the drama at all !! I will watch him without watching the drama LOL :v there are so many platforms to know and see him <3

I only thought about rejection so far but what you predict happens that will be riot movement for me. I mean seriously ! getting rejected not enough for them ? Do they have to continue the sufferings of HJP in that length ?

Whatever he will become he will still be the annoying one and that I am 100% sure

I didnt think of the wedding plot but Yeah HJP will try to propose her and she will reject him that I am sure about

I watched the episode only for#HanJiPyeong character and hoping to see Grandma and he will have conversation but it didn't happen also felt they are aparting slowly. They are tying to give less screen time o them now, even somewhat I felt last episode's Mr. Han's screen also less than before. And they just cant mention such a sensitive issue like suicide the way they presented. I lost my cousin by that !! I watched her family to suffer so closely that I can relate what must Mr. Han felt. You see having guilt can destroy a person's mental health too. It is sad people takes their life in their vulnerable situation without acknowledging life has so much to offer those who lives. They might leave the world of pain but their family and friends always feels the guilt to not be there them or what might they can do to prevent the unfortunate event. I wish whoever feels that much desperate to take their life can reach to at least one person and change their mind or their loved one being more attentive to those stuff.
What Mr. Han did 5 years back thats call being practical and reasonable as a judge of a show and what he said to NDS and to his friends also the truth but he always had soft corner for them, feeling bad for them also. And while mentoring them he always mentor them proper way which Da-mi recognized well and also its very true without him they wont had a chance for so many ways. All I can say they either ruins Hr. Han's character or gives him unpleasant ending I will always cherish #HanJiPyeong a character who is honest and working throughout his life <3

couldn't agree more !! I individually liked characters in the show from the first episode. Thought this drama will be inspiring one, more into individual growth and having a dream come true. Just like Itaewon Class or Record of the Youth but then again they go back to same old story plots. Sigh !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah its more like using your trump card to win the game but also by losing it. They are now trying to get audience by showing second lead's importance then again started to ruin his character to look good the main lead after all Nam Joo-Hyuk already a star of their country. I also personally liked him for his previous shows but in this drama I cant even relate to his character.

I thought with times their story telling will change but again it hurt me.

I think that's in lot of peoples mind right now. Did you noticed TvN and other Kdrama pages, accounts posting clips of Han Ji-Pyeong's these days ? LOL what they are trying to do now ? they never post his clips only posted main leads clips and when people are dropping and started to talk about it now they started to posts. I hate this kind of dirty tricks.

The show suppose to be about Start Up, life, struggle while out there in the world, not some love triangle cliché where you divide your audience with teams. Unfortunately I seeing no progress with characters rather now they making a twist to ruin Mr. Han's character. Seriously ? as I can clearly see people are more into second lead HJP than main lead NDS :/ now you are trying to ruin the second lead to look good the main lead ? that's a bad move . From the start they indicate the revenge plot was related with Sand Box and the director now all over the sudden you are showing its related to Mr. Han ? Really ? am I missing something here ? So I dropped it before I can witness some cliché storyline and unjust to #HanJiPyeong !!

I believe NDS vulnerability is true, most of us can sense that but what we can not relate to his character is his continuity of being one. I can say Han Ji-Pyeong was more vulnerable, helpless and had literally nothing while growing up but he still manage to shine with his hard work and honesty. He over come his fears, his vulnerability not depending on others but himself. And that's true life of us, we have to over come everything with or without anyone's help. NDS had family, some good friends still couldn't manage to over come his fears, vulnerabilities not even at the age of 27 ? Fine ! that's okay but how long? He has to grow up one day. This is life without fight back to life, you can not win or I can say you can not even stand. Being a nice person with intelligence wont get you anything if you can not prove yourself to be success by yourself. I remember Dal-mi's father who worked so hard till his death to prove himself and some how he did also. Dal-mi who so wanted to be a successful CEO can not melding with this love triangle please! b innovative writer for once please tell us a story that can you rely on.

I first saw him in Eulachacha Waikiki 2 and then You Drive Me Crazy now Start Up <3 he is an amazing actor I would love to watch more of his work <3

Me too stopping it at 10's episode. I will always remember Han Ji-Pyeong the good boy forever in my heart❤️ On this way that he confessed his love for Dal-mi and got rejected thats it no more suffering to see??? No more scenes with NDS #period
