Sorry for a late late reply, I don't even remember this drama properly now. But as far as I remember, it ended on a happy note, but it wasn't satisfactory, it's like hinted that the ML & FL ended up together at the very end. Also there was a love triangle.

Yep, I did understand your motive. I really could've worded it better. And about irls, while watching joker I obviously rooted for him, but some of my irls were so hyped that they were convinced what Joker did was a right thing (a debatable topic) to do, they were like that's how a person should be irl and I was very surprised. I wrote this comment when I had all that stuff in my mind, thus it was heavily influenced and strayed away from what I wanted to highlight. :)

Well, I obviously did not target people who don't idolize psychopaths. But it's not entirely untrue that people don't. Even I like psychopathic characters, and I really enjoy the scenes in which he acts like one. But for people who are not enjoying the show just because Dong Shik did not turn into a cold blooded psycho who'll kill the weak can be a little more open to different characters and thus might enjoy the show a bit more ? Now, I understand everyone has different preferences so I don't wanna force anything upon anyone. Now that I reread my comment, I realise that I could've worded it differently lol ?

I really enjoyed the 1st to episodes & I really hope the ending don't pull an Alhambra. I'd love if they both move to Switzerland where he ends up being a pianist & she opens a branch of her business there

Some people need to accept Dong Shik for who he is, I agree that he should grow less gullible but he's NOT a psychopath he's a nice guy. People need to stop idolising psychopaths. It is a GOOD thing that he hasn't killed anyone yet. From all of this mess he doesn't need to learn to kill people but he only needs to grow guts and learn to say no properly.

But 'Strangers from hell' wasn't a comedy tho ?

I'm very late, but it is said that the director intended the last scene to be that because he said the murderer for sure will watch the film, do in the end the detective is staring directly at the murderer.

The ending sucked big time. And I've never disliked any FL this much before, she was very unreasonable until the very end, that said the actress did an amazing job. Really liked the ML, his decisions were realistic, he deserves better smh. Actor is awesome !
