So far, her character was weak and inexperienced at first itself, clearly not her fault. Her character here and in Dragon Sabre is different. I think you are too harsh on her.
There are worse actresses out there in Chinese Drama Industry, still playing lead roles for a while, not improving at all. I don't want to mention other names here.
