Just finished this, I was reluctant at first, especially since i haven't watch a new drama since earlier this year. But, I really did enjoy this, the acting was great from both leads, the FL was very believable that she was mentally older than her current age in the new timeline, the ML acting was pretty great as well, whether jokig around, being mad or serious, he was always believable. I also like the concept of the story. The leads had nice chemistry and i enjoyed there bickering and when they started getting closer and closer. There isn't a ton of kissing etc, and I was okay with that, the leads came from a broken marriage, so it was okay to take their time, plus they were kinda always together so that was nice. Usually i don't like palace drama, i never really finished them, but I liked this one, it never felt boring, there was always something going on. The only annoying thing was the SML, but i skipped him whenever i felt like it. The only time i really listened to him was in the later episode when she told the FL about stuff she didn't know from the first timeline. I hedd the warning and skipped his dying monologue,(like just die ๐๐คญ). I didn't care about him, and his lines weren't quite necessary in some parts so i wasn't gonna let that prevent me from wnjoying this. (And i did enjoy it better when i skip sml when necessary๐). I loved how much the ML loved the FL, it was sooo obvious, and I loved that the ML was the FLs bottom line!.. she'll break arms, and even attempt assassinate anyone who touched her man, she wasn't great at expressing herself but she got a lot bettter.
The special episode was funny and cute, and we saw their kids which was nice.
i'm on episode 26 and they're still bickering, ML even called the FL a little shrew haha
yeah, same.. i read some spoilers so i'm looking forward to the next couple of episode with them.. (they had a huge fight, some scratching involved, and after they sort it out is when eh called her a little shrew) it was serious but became a little comical afterwards, so i nice balance
Many of us loved it. The negative comments are because some feel the director romanticized the SML and that the…
exactly.. she's strong-willed she would have pushed further to may SML if she did love him, who'd marry someone they hated for a second time and be so comfortable with them.
It depends on your perspective. It was clear to me that the leads loved each other. If you allow the director's…
I'm on episode 9, and I could tell that the FL cared deeply for the ML she was just angry at him, because so far she never once mentioned that she loved the SML, she only admitted that she cared for him. Especially when the Qin lady name comes up, you could see the FL expressions, and the things she says, especially that they could have grown old together if the ML didn't acted the way he did towards the Qin girl in the past life.
Ps. I skip the scenes with them every time i hear the love song comes on ahahaha, it's cringe more than romantic
I find myself watching those vertical dramas too and they are terrible. But somehow I keep watching.
Yeah, that's true.. I read sooo much of them in a short period of time, i'm happy I took a break, It's not even like they have some sort of logic to them, some if not all of them the morals are terrible!!!!

Hahaha right!..
Maybe because they're short i watched more than 200 of them in 2 months ๐, I recently took a break for a while, and my sister recommended one to me today, i tried to watch it, no matter how "good" it was said to be, i couldn't get back into them. Haha ๐
I'm re-watching this for the second time, after watching so many of those YouTube vertically filmed shows that are soooooooo heavy with drama, i needed some sweetness, and this was a perfect choice to re-watch. I think I'm also enjoying it more the second time around.
They have such great chemistry, and there romance is soo sweet. I love how they went from strangers, to enemies, to confidante, to friends and then lovers, and i love how there wasn't any issue transitioning into lovers from friends, which i find does have some issues in other dramas that has a similar friends to lovers trope. They are so sweet and affectionate, they make you smile and blush. (PS. I've seen enough to not care about the logic behind the FL's powers haha, so dash that out of an open window, and just enjoy a sweet couple, nothing to be taken seriously, truly a fluffy show to watch)
