I'm feeling the same way.. do you have any good reccomendations from this list that you've watch, not long separately and happy ending?

Happy you liked it. When I'm conflicted about a show i tend to try to ignore what i read and just go in with a blank sheet, so I can see for myself. In this case that review helped me a lot regarding the ML, seeing so nany vad comnents about him, had he a bit conflicted about watching, but I'm happy i got over it and enjoyed the show.

I also love ZLS shows, as well as WAY 😊

Yes, there were event in the growth of not only the ML, but other characters as well.

That part was also different from other xianxia i watched, i really liked how Ming Qi had a change of heart, its all thanks to XR and his influence on him for 70,000 years.

I'm happy I did, because I liked it. ZLS and WAY acting was really good, especially with those emotional crying scenes, and they had great chemistry together, as they fell deeper and deeper in love, you could tell how much they loved each other. there were also some great side charcters and good friends. Just like every other xianxia you'll have your misunderstandings, but much later on when everything gets revealed, I didn't hate the ML at all, and I'm happy he wasn't protrayrd as an overpowered character, (that was a nice change that I personally liked) but he always came through when needed, ofcourse when the part most people spoke about came, because I read the review first and kept an open mind and also because you already know the ML charcater, so i didnt hate him, and when it was all revealed i had a lot of sympathy for him.


As for the FL, both her and ML were my favorite character, I loved her as Yin and as Feng Yin, she was so smart and innocent as Yin, yet so fierce and bold as Feng Yin. The side character and friends charcters were also really nice and the secondary couple, loved them together.

Of course with every show there are some flaws here and there, but after watching it all and the ending i still liked the show, of course i don't mind a little more or a special epsiode would be perfect, but heyyy.. if you're used to watching xianxia you'll know these endings are common, at least its not an OE...

I was a bit nervous to watch this because of all the negative comment regaridng the ML, but after reading KiKo Tsukino review I decided to keep an open mind and watch it. The review was very insightful, it really did put me in the right mindset to start this show. You can give it a read if you're interested.

Anyways... I just finished and I liked it, and if you're used to watching xianxia, you can give it a chance you may or may not like it, but its best to try for yourself.

Honestly you're right, i almost missed a really nice show. I love watching xianxia and 2023 did bring a few different types, and I'm all for it. I loved that the ML wasn't some overpowered character, but once you see all he did, for someone so you g and inexperience, he did an amazing job!!! His parents would be very proud of him. Pnly 1200 compared to his 60,000 year old father, its crazy.. looking ag it this way its impressive. Very happy with this show, I'm halfway through the last episode, and all i was thinking when ML sacrifice himself was that i wish he didn't have to go through that, he tried so hard to live a different life from his parents, and also that he's his oarents child!!. The dad Reincarnated the mom, and the mom kneeled for how many hundred years to get back the dad, they'll definitely do anything they can to get back their son.

I'm really proud of ML, i can't wait to tell my sisters about this show.

At the moment we didn't understand, but as I'm in episode 35 the aunt lady who just keep spouting nonsense, finally said something decent, and told the FL everything, including the ML intentions when she used the sword on her as you mentioned for sealing her immortal bones and not destroying them, but it went down hill because he didn't know what that foolish peacock girl did.

I just honestly cannot wait to see thede people punished tbh.

I also really liked this show, becsude again your reviews, comments and other comments i read opened my eyes even a lot to different views about the ML... i almost missed this nice show because of others views haha 😅

I liked them because it helped me get through the angst, knowing that those parts were coming. I just finished episode 25 and i understand now, so happy i watched for myself, when people said ML killed the FL i thought it was truly that, but it's not his fault, she knew she would die and the peacock wicked lady and the god aunt lady both told her a bunch of fabricated lies regarding the ML so she thought it was all true and she had it, but the ML didn't know any of this, nor did he know she went through the punishment so he's still thinking she has the elixir he made for her, and because she put up a shield he couldn't hear eagle princess until it was too late..... that peacock father daughter better get a bad end or i'll be soo mad lool... but, i did not blame the FL if you watch it clearly you can see, he would never kill Ah Yin, and i'm sure he saved her sister from the mountain place, he would never ever hurt them, but the FL couldn't believe because she already misunderstood him from the many lies those two ladies said.. they caused all tis, that aunty is a huge contributor to this calamity and have the audacity to say about phoenix queen, i want when Feng Yin comes, all those get there just punishment and regrets and kneel for forgiveness. Ps. I feel sooooooo bad for Yuan Qi oh my gosh!! all he wanted was to live in peace with Yin

Yeah, I'm happy now that I know what yo expect regarding the ML.. so i can understand when stuff happens and when he makes certain decisions, so again thank you for sharing your thoughts, its making this more enjoyable.

I'm happy they'll have there moments because they went through so much, and only got a little bit of time with there lovey dovey moment.

Looking forward to the src right after these next few angsty episodes, and seeing how this all plays out to the end.

I can't say i can't believe you're already rewatching because im like that, hahaha 😆 less than a week after watching back from the brink i started rewatching it again 😅 and after this to get some sunshine back in my life, I'll be rewatching LMLMV 😄 i think it's coming close to a month since I've watched it.

Gosh, i also do love him and the eagle princess, I heading into episode 20 and I can see from previous episodes that she likes him and he seem to not like the FL in that way anymore, so i cant wait to see them together.

I know the angsty parts are coming so I'm preparing my heart haha.. i hope after the angst we still get to see sweet moments between the FL and ML.

I also love the friendshi, could tell from when they were trapped in the dessert area much earlier that they would make great friends together the 4 of them.

Hello, I have a question.

Around what episode does the starting start from, 🤔.. hope that makes sense, in the first episode it shows the ML chasing FL after she dies, and then it went back 1000 years, when will that part resumes? Or when will the FL die? Gosh hope it makes sense 🙈

You're welcome, I had to stop watching it on YouTube, on just episode 4 and the comments were so extremely negative about the ML he didn't even do anything yet haha.. it's crazy, so I'm watching somewhere else where i wouldn't be tempted to read comments, and so far I've been enjoying this and have sooooo much sympathy with the ML character your review have helped me so much, I feel like I already understand him.

My perspective is that after watching a beautiful love story, what happens to the child who was left behind after a parent sacrifices themselves and the other parent is trying to somehow save the other, then the child is left, and this is the story about the child.. this way i have soo much sympathy for ML in many ways and I understand him. I'm also enjoying the FL, I'm reallly happy i started this show

Ps. I even saw people shipping the FL with the fox who clearly stated he has ulterior motives, and who has no issue in using her healing powers when he knows she can eventually die from it... while bashing the Ml... outrageous haha (ohh yes, the same fox who is mentioned in the first 10-15 mins of episode one to have lead a war.. yup, saw heavy shipping of him, while others bashed the ML - if you really look at that, then you can see it's not from the character but personal)

I've seen a lot of xianxia, I consider heavy when the MC go through a lot of hurt and pain for a long time, kind of like L&R and IS(Immortal Samsara) is what i considered the most heavy out of the many I've watched, so if you may think the heavy vibes are similar to these two, then maybe it's heavy, if not then maybe not haha 😁

then again.. I already started it haha on episode 3 now.. too late to back out anyways 🤣

I haven't started this as yet, because I intially was going to push this aside, lots of negavtive comments regarding the ML, but I came back for the final time (or so i say) to see if I should try giving it a chance, before I put it in my plan to watch (usually will not watch if i do that).... luckily, I found your review... I'm so happy i did, because now i can fully go into this show with a blank mind, because what you said cancelled out what i read. So im going to watch this with an open mind, and from everyone's perspective.

Hello, how long does the angsty episodes last for? Is it really heavy ?

Decided to forget about the comments and dive into this show after so long, and I enjoyed it. it's not so heavy and I really liked the ML and FL together, the FL isn't one of those annoying FL, and she dresses really well for her work which i liked a lot, she's also really good at her work as well. I liked the ML before and after his memory lost and recovery. It does get draggy at times, but for the most part, because I watched for the leads, i did enjoy their story/romance, especially since I was in the mood for something simple, of course the majority of shows have their issues, but nothing major enough for me to personally drop this.
