For sure, I understand, I warched the first 13 or so episode and had it on hold for a few weeks, pick up again and only finished one episode, then put on hold, then eventually watched the remaining 10, which i ended up enjoying. The last 5 or so i enjoyed a lot, and the wedding and the ending. But i wouldn't rewatch, still happy i ended up with good feelings when i finsihed it.

Yeah I know, I've seen it and given it a high rating, compared to this show. But, as mentioned, I was talking about the last 5 mins of The Day Of Becoming You compared to the last 5 mins of this show since the theme's are pretty much the same. I prefer the last 5 minutes of this show, compared to The Day Of Becoming You, in my own personal view from watching both.

I was wondering where I saw the FL, she was one of the main solar term girls (concubine) of Prince An from New Life Begin.

You'll enjoy it, the drama isn't as extreme or heavy as most xianxia shows.

About to re-watch this show, I've been listening to the soundtrack and can't get over all the emotions and feelings I had when I first watched this. It hasn't been 2 months yet and I just have to re-watch this. 😁🥰

happy ending

This wasn't that bad tbh, after reading the comments about it, i decided to watch it and not take it seriously, and for a quick watch it's pretty decent. I give it an 8/10

I hesitated to watch this, then I ending up putting it on hold from episode 13, but my sister told me she had finished it and where i left off it started to pick up and got interesting, took some time but i ended up picking it back up and was happy i did, it really did pick up from about episode 14 or so, and the last 5 or so episodes was the best for me. I really loved the direction it went in and all the surprises, the chemistry, etc. I especially loved how the ending didn't make me regret watching, because of Chinese censorship i did wonder how it would actually "end", and they definitely nailed it, i didn't feel disappointed or anything about the ending (last 5-10 mins) in other words, i actually loved it, they definitely nailed it for me. I felt better with this ending than the one for The Day of Becoming You, it just shows that even with censorship you can still make it a feel good, giddy, sweet ending for modern fantasy Chinese drama.

I give it an 8.5, because i really did enjoy the second half of the drama, if the first half was a little better i would have given higher rating.

hahaha I also re-watched a couple scenes with them over and over again as well. They just have such a cute, sweet chemistry together.

Most historical drama I've watched fall short and give a last minute happy ending, but this was totally different, the last few episodes was very good, especially the entire last episode, it was so amazing to see the flashback from when the girls first came and where they are now. The princes relationship with each other changed as well. They truly did a phenomenal job with the themes friendship and brotherhood in this drama. I can truly say I left feeling fully content after watching this show.

loool... as much as i absolutely ended up loving YY, i still couldn't wait for them to divorce and it was mainly because FL doesn't believe in having a concubine and she was compromising, so there romance was pretty much on hold. However i wished YY could have just stayed as her bestie, they were great together as friends, or even like sisters. i'm happy YY got her own courage, independence and happiness in her home country, i haven't felt this happy for a supporting character before.

hello, thanks for responding, i'm almost done with the drama so i saw all those parts, she was one of the best character for a SFL i've seen, i loved that they stuck with her characteristics and the plot for her to be independent in her own country.

So, as much as it's not my cup of tea with having concubine (unless you're the king) this one wasn't bad at all, well written

Ive been back and forth with Love and Destiny for sometime now, i just can't seem to start it. I'm probably gonna start this one first, because im more familiar with the Dilreba works
