The crown prince is spineless and useless, and the second prince is a disgraceful fool... my goodness i feel sorry for that nation, none of them is worthy to rule..

I felt the same until i continued watching and saw the plot behind it, he made himself look so bad, even i didn't like him during that episode

I can't believe thisnis dubbed, the voice they choose for her sounds a little weird.

Lool oh yeah, i guess for me compared to other very annoying FL i didnt mind the FL here, I find she's still a lot better than most FL I've seen 😅

Lool i guess so. It can definitely be as you mentioned its just the way he used to train him, which is why I think he comes off that way 😆

Thats interesting, and as a SFL compared to a MFL I can see how that can definitely make a difference in some ways.

when i wrote this i wasn't finished with the drama, so he did not give him back the army token as yet. Also, e all have our own opinions and see things differently, i thought he did treat the emperor differently you could hear and see it though his actions, if you don't see it that way then thats okay

Is it worth watching? There was so many mixed reviews and comments I put it off, but im back again checking it out. Is the romance and chemistry good?

I feel the same, in the earlier episodes it was okay, but then when they got together the expressions are the same whether happy or sad. It gets kinda weird once you're into the drama and you can't feel the chemistry and romance because of it.

This started off well, after the foolish misunderstand and the terrible attitude of the FL from episodes 11-15 I started skipping myself from episode 16-18 but Im still trying really hard to stick with this after investing my time. It could have been better if they didnt make FL so unbearable in those episodes the way she flirted with the guy to make ML jealous was not funny, not cute or anything but terrible. She acted very foolish, I usually dont let those things bother me, but its the first time i watched a drama and it really upset me the way FL acted, like seriously, how unwise can you be (what if the man was a creep).
It's weird I've seen the FL in Legend of yunxi and Blooms of ruyi pavilion her acting was so amazing, but idk whats wrong here she has no facial expressions and its like she's talking with her teeth grinded together so her face is stiff whether happy or sad, again im not picky with drama as long as the romance is good all other things im okay with, but the romance itself and the chemistry wasn't even that good because of there facial expressions it killed whatever chemistry between them. Im at epsiode 18 and im just going to watch the last 6 on 2.0 speed and skip through. The poster made you feel like this was going to be nice and light hearted, but hoenstly the misunderstanding epsiodes it wasnt nice at all, i cannot get over how upsetting it was, like you cannot tell me she thought her actions was okay right?! They wrote her character terribly for those epsiodes.

Its the first time i prefer the child characters over the Mains, their acting, expressions and romance, even chemistry was better..

the chemistry, friendship and romance between the leads were really good, definitely deserves a much higher rating, very nice light fantasy drama with no unnecessary headaches

This show is truly a hidden gem, i really love the natural humor, the ML surprised me from being serious to being such a funny character (while being serious of course) which is soo funny, and the chemistry and romance is nice. truly a nice lighthearted drama

ohh and the kisses... those were definitely real hehe 😯😍

I've been watching low rated dramas lately, and tbh i have come to the conclusion that i cannot trust the ratings on MDL, because there are soo many great drama's with low ratings on this platform
