Well technically she went back and change things which created an alternate world, (not the same like the future one she went too). They do met again, though its not clear whether it's the same ML from the future/other world she went too

But isn't that the xaio dong from her new timeline B. So the xaio dongfrom timeline A, is he there still lonely? Thats what popped in my head, so i feel kinda sad about the ending 😭😭. I guess i can look at it from how you stated as well, thats a more optimistic lol

Thats exactly what came to mind when i saw the ending 5 mins ago... im sooooooo sad, like i was fine watching the series with all the bad comments, i stuck with it and give it a chance up to the very end. But when i saw that ending, the first thing i thought was, she gets to be happy and the one she really fell in love with lost his dad, mom and his lover and is still in the future lonely, we didn't even get to see how he was doing. Thats just tooooo cruel, they should have at least made him time travel back or something, smh. They did crazier things in the series anyways. I have never bee this so sad and upset about an ending.

I also deel bitterseet about that ending... how can i be happy, what about the future xu xiao dong, she disappeared from his world, so he had to live without her? But then she got a happy ending because she got the other one from the past/alternate world. I really wasn't expecting that, i was also wondering about the low raitngs, now i figured why. Soo disappointed.

really she didn't?? awwe, I fell in love with Cdrama ost's after I watched legend of yunxi, and then i started watching her drama's and looked forward to the ost's she always does such a great job, i'll definitely miss her for this one

ohh, i guess everyone has a difference preference when it comes to drama's. Maybe one day in the future i may eventually give it a try..

That's also one of the reasons I loved this drama, it's a total pass for me.

I just finished season one, I'm going to start this season soon, can I still enjoy this if I skip the villain scenes and power struggle ones, and just watch the main couple?

Thanks for this comment, I had this in and out of my plan to watch for a while and just came back again. Now you mention about Itazura na kiss, then i'll definitely watch this.. i love all different remakes, it was my first drama and favorite story, hold a special place in my heart lool so i know how you feel and trust your judgement lool
