Ah, okay! I do not really care for that kind of things. I just watch movies/dramas based on what I find on television or streaming sites. And I watched Dream of Eternity because it was released on Netflix. That is how I found out about the movie and I enjoyed it. The production was great for a Chinese movie. Story line was interesting , it had some decent acting and some of the actors were familiar to me.

She has potential to be an outstanding actress. She is in my personal opinion better than most young well-known actresses these days. Wang Peng just needs male lead co-stars with more experiences who can help her grow as an actress. She just needs better projects, she deserves it. Also, she needs a better team who can help her with the right connections and resources.

From all the rookie actresses/young veteran actress (incl. idol- turned actresses) this girl has caught my eyes. From all the projects that she has worked on up until now I can confidently say that this girl's acting abilities are the most natural from all the young actresses today. I just hope she has a management team that can provide good scripts for her. This girl has so much potential. I hope it wont be wasted with scripts that can not show her acting skills to the fullest. I am looking forward to her future projects. I am definitely going to keep an eye on her projects.

Season 1 was amazing. It was all about the missions and actually running from the hunters. Season 2 is just a joke. What is with all these weird themes and their costumes? Too much talking and overly exaggerations. Very annoying. It became more of a comedy variety show. Season 2 lost its purpose. Disappointed. I hope that if they consider making season 3, that they will go back to how season 1 was.

I get that you are her fan and wants to give a defensive reason for every 'criticism' I have made. But, everyone has a different opinion and this is mine, a non-fan opinion.

Even if she just appeared for just a few minutes in the first few episodes, those few first minutes are still important for the viewers, non-fans. If you can not impress the viewers within those few minutes that you are given, than that says enough about the artist abilities. And this does not only goes for Cheng Xiao, but for every singer-turned actor or actors from profession.

Also, working hard is indeed important, but if you are working hard and still not show any improvement than what is the point of working hard. You can not always rely on your fans 'encouragement and love'.

There are a lot of singers that wants to try acting, but there are a few that deserves to be called an actor. We are in a generation were idols that can brings traffic to their project are overtaking the ones that are really schooled in this field or have more experiences in this field. Just like some film/TV drama directors have said and I quote them 'You can have a bit experience and look pretty on screen. But do you know how many actors there are with pretty looks? There are a lot. The worst thing about pretty ones like ... is that they do not have personality. Them thinking since I already look like this, I need to find a way with my acting.' There are a lot of singers-turned actors who has a lot of weak points and Cheng Xiao has a lot. She still does not have learned how to use acting to control her facial expressions. And this is something you can not just do with getting a lot of acting offers that is handed for your and throughout it with working hard. EVERYONE is working hard.

This is why I said that I hope that if she wants to take acting seriously she chooses to go to a film academy in the near future. There are a lot of graduated students from a film/drama academy but does not get the chance to get any acting projects because they are overpowered by already debuted singers without any schooled or any experience in that field.

I just rather watch actors from profession who knows what they are doing and have experiences or have a schooled background for it than people without any of those things and have to rely on other things such as their fans, looks or connections/resources just because they are from a big agency.

But, of course we can have an agree to disagree. I respect your opinion. If you like her, that is great. Keep on supporting her.

This girl, I have seen some of her work and every time whenever I have some hope that she would improve more, she disappoints me. I always stopped watching after episode 2 or something.. It is just too cringe to watch. I get that she comes from a big agency that provides big projects for her, but that does not mean that she should take those projects randomly and just because she can. She either always exaggerate her emotions or she does not have any emotions at all. She is very stiff and she is just awkward to the point that her 'acting' is just not convincing enough. With certain scenes you can see that she is lost and that she does not know how to express a certain emotion. It just does not look natural. I really hope that if she wants to take acting serious and really wants to become an actress that she decides to go to an film academy/college. Because right now, she has the luck that she can rely on all the success of her projects because of her co-stars that are decent enough with their acting skills or has a big fandom already. But, there comes a point in her career that she can not just rely on her pretty face/looks or others anymore.

Kids these days should understand that if you are not meant for a certain profession you should accept it. It is okay to not do everything. I have more respect and love for celebrities that stick with what they are good in and show improvement in their own field rather than celebrities that wants to show everything in every field but does not show any improvement at all.. There are too many celebrities that wants to try different things too much and too fast. Especially, with the new and younger generation.

Actually, Youku just bought the rights of the TV drama with the original actors. But, there is no further news after that. There are rumors that this drama will be aired in the 4th Q of next year. So, lets wait for the official announcement of Youku.

Meng Meiqi was definitely the one who caught my eyes. She was the most interesting and fascinating masked dancer on the show. Everyone was great in their own way with their own style, but Meiqi is not just an Chinese idol-dancer. She is an artist, she is art. She thinks 10 steps further and just does not want to put some choreography on stage. She wants to tell her audience a story.

Wah you kids online are really something, are you not? Nothing is wrong with smoking. Jeez, he is an adult and can do whatever he wants to do. He should have not given a political apology. Giving the excuse of him being a celebrity, role model or having a young fanbase following him is just really selfish of you kids. You are the reason why these celebrities are having a hard time. Yes, smoking is not good for someone's health, but it is not your responsibility to decide what is wrong or good for someone, or what that person can do or not. Oh, you should have not abandoned the drama after episode 20, because the episodes will get better and more interesting. If you have not watched this drama from start till end you can not have a clear vision or understanding of the story. If you watch it till the end, you would wish it had more episodes so that you could understand the history of this story better. I am also not a fan of the female lead nor do I have watched any of her other shows. I started to watch this for the male lead Wallace Huo. But the whole cast have portrait their characters really well from the beginning till the end. I would recommend it to you to watch it again.

Li Jia Qi actually just wrapped up filming her new drama a few days ago. It is with the same lead actor as in My Youth. The drama is called '99 points Girlfriend'. Maybe the title will change in the near future.
