scrolled through you people's comment because waiting a week is damn torture. i love the lead couple like crazy but i agree with some comments saying the story is confusing, messy or a bit convoluted LOL. i'm a bit lost.
okay 5 episodes in and my dissatisfaction is growing over the very limited screentime for Lee Soo Hyuk. it's a crime to do this to someone as talented as him. the only explanation that we barely see anything important in the role he plays here is because they are growing to throw us a big surprise later on. but will they really? i'm growing beard of doubts.
i think my biggest gripe so far is that in those very limited screentime of his. his interactions are mainly with Dok Kyung and the girl writer-nim and his dongsaeng (Kang Tae Oh). i wanted to see his deep bromance with Myul Mang WTF give it to us!!!!!!! :(

even i couldn't really like TSHLYE because the romance between ML/FL was kinda jumpy, the progression is not very natural because of the SFL in between them.

actually TKEM is a very polarizing drama. a lot of us think it's such a terrible disaster but there are still people who enjoyed it to the end. for dramas like this, no straight advice could be given but to recommend the person to try the couple of episodes to see if they themselves will continue to want to watch it.

anyone noticing that this drama kinda serves us 'instant noodle romance' but not in a very forced way like TKEM or Goblin? gee who would have thought it can be done so tastefully! *heart eyes x3000*
yasss, now that's how you make an explosive kdrama episode!!! i honestly can't deal. i feel like everything that happened in this episode was just a fckin perfection. we got a little more about the dark, painful backstory of the ML, glimpses here and there of their budding romance encapsulated in their sad, twisted fate as well as hot AF second/third male lead goodness me! geez, have mercy on us Lee Soo Hyuk oppa. they also throw in Kang Tae Oh in there, phewww. are we gonna survive this drama alive, bisches? LOL.
i actually teared up at the scene when he recreated the scene of the night before when she was about to get fatally hit by the white truck of doom (and asked her to choose again). and she indeed again choose to stay alive instead of die then. i mean, the way he tested her mentally like that was messed up AF, and the slap she gave him was fully deserved LOL.
BUT! the thing that ruined me completely about that scene was when Myul Mang himself repeated the lines said by the deity of life at the hospital (presumably his first love). that the matter of them crossing paths is unavaoidably in their fate, and that both of them mutually think that fate is being really cruel to them, which puts them in complete misery. the pain in his eyes, fckk it. it hurts!!!
geez. the story is really meaty. i wanna know where is the arc going to bring us with the SML and TML, also the SFL (writer-nim) who seemed to be the past lover/fling of the TML.
