fck it. this episode was so hard to watch.about child molester who got out of jail early and was about to take revenge and assault the younger brother of the first victim who reported him.when they had a scene showing the grown up victim continuing to be traumatized and describing the feeling as if she has a snake crawling on her every second/minute of the day therefore completely debilitating her life, i thought that was such a phenomenal and heartbreaking way to describe something that most of us can never understand. it's so damn heartbreaking.i also liked the note at the end where the director included words saying other countries have very strict punishment for pedophiles, even death penalty but South Korea really sucks in this regard, with pardon for early release or leniency for behaviours under the influence of alcohol and that the country should do something about that.i just can't ever imagine a situation like this. nothing reminds me about the filth of human characters than when watching crime dramas :((

reading people's comments on the drama page is fun because i am lazy to write my own LOL.another great episode. we've officially finished the first half of the drama. so much has happened and so many more twists and turns can take place still. honestly i am scared, really fckin scared.i really wish i could just stop here and pick it up again when it completes airing LOL but i think i can't quite let it go. basically i am doomed, LMAOOOO.

i think this episode was outstanding. gahh, wish there are more dramas like this genre.i think the problem is because we don't have enough young male screenwriters, that's why we don't get these kinds of stories often enough.i think South Korea will start making a drama like this more often, because it sells.kickass k-dramas are the best!!

Yong-ee was desperately looking for his older sister, only for her to be captured and jailed in the same prison cell as him, but he didn't know it was her. when he found out later, he tried to manipulate the rope used for her death penalty but his trick was found, and he had to witness his sister's death execution in public. fckin hell.also didn't understand why Ja Dol gave away Yong's sister identity. turned out he was promised she won't be killed, as well as a place in the official palace appointment but the position was later on given to his asshole elder brother. damn. the level of tragedy in this.

Holy hell. The sheer tragedy in this episode.1. Lee Gyum's father was killed for accusation of treason. And his body was taken to the public for it to be ripped apart by several horses and the kid stumbled into it. Damn.2. His mother was walked in the public as a doomed prisoner and he was told to throw stones at her and did so to hide the truth about his real identity.3. Young Bong Soon brother who may have gotten killed. And she luckily was saved by the military officer who chased them down. That man gave her to be taken care by a lady but she was listening through the lady conversation saying she'll be sold to a dying old man for the tale of increased vitality. WTAF. Fckin disgusting.4. Luckily young Bong Soon was smart not to simply follow the lady and instead followed the ahjussi who saved her. Later on we saw they grew up as father-daughter.//The young Bong Soon, i was so blown away by her acting. The way she cried touched me. She's no less cute visually compared to Kim Yoo Jung who's playing young Eun Chae who's a noble descendant. She's also in Extracurricular as adult actress, i might watch that drama for her LOL.She must have a bright future ahead of her. So young and so talented!!!

HOLY HELL. THAT EXPLOSION. THAT FCKIN EXPLOSION. this drama really outdid itself in this episode.Vincenzo really has no qualms burning things down at a very grand scale LOL, reminds me of the opening in ep. 1 when he burnt down the whole vineyard of that mafia boss.things that i really loved in this episode:1. when Cha Young stood up against the zumba lawyer with full gusto after submitting her resignation. wow, i wanna give the girl a standing ovation. i don't know how she becomes so fearless, but she's fckin incredible!!!2. when Cha Young took over her late father's law firm and commit herself to finish the cases, also to seek justice for her father's death also the case involving Babel Group. applause!3. when Vincenzo teamed up with her after she offered to win him Geulga Plaza no matter what. and the scene quite at the end when he treatened to run the zumba lawyer over at the self-service laundry place with truck-kun of doom. hot damn.4. the scene when Vincenzo took out the Russian pistol and really pull a shot, LOL. i was dumbfcked when i saw that scene. you can't tell me that Vincenzo suddenly commit a murder in Korea, WTFH and that too with a witness. thank god it was just a prank and Mr. Han was a former special effects makeup artist HAHAHAHAHA you got me!!!5. when they go over to Babel Group pharmaceutical warehouse and burnt down the entire buildings with full scale explosions. i also loved that their accomplices were seen to be family members of the victims of Babel Group failed drug trials. honestly, this writer knows how to pull our heartstrings with small moments.6. when Intern Jun-Woo finally made an appearance after receiving notice that his company's warehouse burnt down as the hyung-nim, or the real Chairman Jang, and that another big explosion happened right in front of his eyes LOL. the rage in his eyes wow, i can't wait to see how he'll do everything in his power to destroy our heroes.FCKIN INCREDIBLE SO FAR. i got bored when CLOY had draggy scenes but so far i didn't mind it here because i find all characters solidly interesting, of course including the tenants at the Plaza.

HOLY FCKIN HELL. THAT ENDING. i had my volume up on a blast and was literally shocked as fckk when i saw that scene. i am still tryna process that scene, i didn't expect that coming so soon gdamnit.this episode was literally quite peaceful and slow almost all throughout the first 45-50 minutes. then bamm, they gave you all the hook you needed in the last 25-30 minutes.this episode had Vincenzo playing more on the background because he refused to get too involved in the case against Babel Group that the ahjussi lawyer is working on. so in the entire episode, the ahjussi lawyer had more screen time than him. and true enough i was starting to feel that i wanted to see more of the ahjussi-Vincenzo duo fighting against the monsters instead of him doing it alone but i couldn't think of a paradigm shift that will change Vincenzo's mind for it. i just realised after finishing this episode that the ahjussi lawyer is not even in the main role and that explains HE'S EXACTLY THE PARADIGM SHIFT NEEDED, damn :(i kept thinking, how can a person be this upright and persistent to fight against injustice? turned out he's not one without a fatal flaw. he left his wife to die alone because he was busy fighting the world, which made his daughter resent him. i've really wanted their difference in values explained, and now i get it. my heart aches because it makes sense, and suddenly my view of Cha Young's character changed to be more tolerable.things that i am looking forward to see:1. if Vincenzo will make amends with his dying mother, and represent her, and whether she'll stay alive to clear her name despite having a terminal illness.2. how Vincenzo and Cha Young will eventually team up for the same cause since they annoy each other LOL.3. what's the real deal with the ahjumma prosecutor-lawyer. was she the one who ordered for the white truck-kun of doom? WTFH.4. Taec-yeon's real identity.

The misery he feels upon realizing that he loves the robot Aji 3 is very well acted. I literally chocked seeing his cry, especially in ep. 18 when he finally decided to reset Aji 3. Reminds me of Lee Joon's character in My Father is Strange when he fell in love with someone who's forbidden to him. Also the reset button scene is really heart-wrenching because that's exactly how two people who love each other a lot but have to separate would act. Gdamn it's so good but sad. From ep. 12 when she stole his first kiss in the rain to him questioning how Aji 3 refused to acknowledge they kissed LOL, gosh must have sucked to be him. He's such a lonely person and they deserved each other so much. Please writer-nim give us happy moments juseyoooo. :/

Great episode! I'm especially suspicious of the Mayor's son and the policeman who works at the data archives department. Everyone in the village could be a suspect literally LOL.

just needed to share this gold comment on a streaming site: "so this is how it ends huh.I've been talking about this in the comment section already but I can't help but do so again as now EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE.So, "the metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka really seems to be the key plot element of this series. Until ep 9 I clinged onto thinking that jongwoo was undergoing a metarmorphosis in the sense that he's going crazy living in the Eden dormitory. I guess I just considered Jongwoo as the innocent, "normal" Jongwoo that we got to know int the first eps. I thought that maybe he would break under this horror and in the end die by killing himself. Just like the protagonist of the book, as he died by starving himself as he didn't want to continue living after undergoing his metarmorphosis.Oh how wrong I was.In the end, Jongwoo did break under the pressure, stress and trauma, however, not his "innocent" side one, but the crazy one. Even though we could still see him fighting his metamorphosis (e.g. when Ji-eun was interrogated she had flashbacks of Jongwoo choking himself: that was literally Jongwoo trying to stop his metamorphosis into a serial killer), he ended up killing all of the people in Eden. Thereby, he became thedentist. That's also why the female police officer ended up seeing an halluzination of the dentist in the elevator, because Jongwoo literally became him.Furthermore, the dentist used to call his murders art. He sincerely considered mudering art, and in some way Jongwoo is continuing this too. He's writing a book about what happend in Eden, but as we've seen the novel really does only consist of the word "die". However, by writing this down in the form a novel he is in some sense creating art.All in all, HE BECAME THE DENTIST.that is my main theory to the ending. Of course, there is the possibility that the dentist killed them all. I mean, he did say when he killed the CEO that he's usually not "this sloppy". There is the possibility that because of Jongwoo, because he "likes" or better "cherishes" him so much as his masterpiece, he became sloppy and killed them all in an amateur like manner. It could be, but I highly doubt that.ALL IN ALL, this drama could be considered a modern day version of "the metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka AND I'M ALL IN FOR IT. Literally the best drama, I've ever watched. And also the actors and actresses did such a great job, especially Im Siwan. Considering that it's his first project after his military service once could think that his acting and facial expressions became rusty BUT NOT AT ALL. I bought him off everything: the scared and helpless and innocent guy and the crazy lunatic. He did maginificent at both of them + he did so well at acting out Jongwoo's metamorphosis. Literally a legend. We stan.As for Lee Dong woo. We all know he's also a kdrama legend, but seeing him pulling a 180 from a sweet lawyer in "touch my heart" to THIS. He truly deserves all his fame we also stan. And for the other actors, especially the guy who played the twins. W O W. EVERYONE DID SO WELLI'm just shook y'all gotta go now wow.

"You know what exactly wrong with this drama ? Connectivity. I find this drama really good and interesting. Even the characters are kinda good too. I like the chemistry between both couples. Even the secrets are fine but when you put everything in one place , i feel like those parts are not connected that well . Because of that, this drama is missing the depth. Its not the bad one but this drama is all over the place. Also there are so many loose ends! But i am going to complete this!!"//was it this episode or the previous one where they opened with the two leads hanging out together being completely happy after successfully reviving Chairman Hwang who collapsed with a heart attack? from that scene to how the scene opened in this episode there was no linking whatsoever. i thought she was still mad at him for being rejecting her at the same time being obsessive? alas, she found out later on that he pretended she was his fiance, so she left his side without telling him. and he thought she was gonna get back with her ex, but he finally found out that it was because of his own lies that sparked her anger, he tried to win her over by asking her to choose him because she understands his pain, even though she's still not sure if she can trust him, and to be his final goal instead so he won't be swayed by the wrong. she finally relented because she knew she already fell in love with him. i mean, that line was so beautiful. i don't think it has been expressed very well in other dramas that a person can choose to be with someone out of pity. even in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, i remember the leads got together because they simply can't deny their feelings for each other. in this sense, i am saying this drama is adding me new perspective about love/relationships especially uniquely among people with deep trauma/brokenness issues. i mean, you're threading a thin line here, because if you are unlucky or foolishly let your guard down completely, you are in for a damning relationship with a whole manipulative narcissist. i am not sure how deep the trauma and trust issues can be somewhat 'resolved' in the remaining episodes, but i am really hooked. i wanna know where the story will take me.

gosh the guest really ruined this episode for me and most everyone else. came back to minute 39:38 when i saw a comment mention it, a scene when the comedian sunbae guest sprayed water from inside his mouth to Ji Suk Jin's face when he made a mistake at re-enacting the slapstick comedy. also Yoo Jae Suk took the bamboo stick away from Lee Kwang Soo because he had to hit Ji Suk Jin on the head while doing the scene, and he wasn't doing it properly (which means YJS was going front to get hit instead of LKS). the way YJS especially takes care of his hoobaes on the show is so heartwarming, and it always reminds me as to why he's my ultimate fave on the show. the mission team vs. chasing team game at the ski resort was hella fun as well because the sunbae was eliminated early LOL! it was nice to see them having fun, especially HaHa-Kwangsoo movie game and Gary-HaHa mellow reconciliation short movie (friendship that ripped apart because of Song Ji Hyo) kekekeke.

the way he followed her all the way to the Eohwa Island because he is worried for her safety because of his brother, yet lied/hide the truth from her about it (even though he's still not sure if she's the one), i find it so darn cute :(
