i honestly doesn't even notice their age gap while watching because their chemistry is so great
I wouldn’t have noticed either if they hadn’t said it on the show, but then I also saw the real life age gap and it’s really big.

Ok so I did understand it correctly it was just so dumb haha. That kid is not right in the head, blaming sheng wang for having it easy when he literally had to stay up until 3 am to catch up. for weeks.
