All in all this season was basically just fanservice and I'm all for it but eventually it gets boring after a while. They should've given the story some plot at least. We have a few scenes here and there with the Empress and mo yuan long "plotting" just to remind us that there's still a overarching story but ultimately it has just been a rom com slice of life until the last five episodes or so. The Empress went from cold to bloodthirsty to suddenly realising her wrongdoings really quick lol. Season one and two had much more interesting plot, atleast there were things happening to move the story.

the romance is minimum, the male lead is already married and as a child and they spend a lot of the drama separated. In the end it is a happy ending in the sense that he reunites with his wife and child.
What did they do to dylan wang lmao...why does he look so dead as if they beat the soul out of him. Staring into his eyes is like staring into the void. He can def act better.....i cant help but laugh at his character here its too funny and i dont know if thats his acting or the directors fault cuz ive seen him do better

Same, he seemed like a hardworking dude until he started acting sketchy but i always felt like he never really loved Fang Niya and i was a bit sus when he decided to be with her....

Why FWX killed those people? Well, for Zhan Yu, it was an accident, he wanted to kill Yan Jin with poison but Zhan Yu unintentionally got in the way so it was Zhan Yu who ended up drinking the poison instead so he had to kill him off. For Sun Jiayu, the reason he killed him was because Sun Jiayu witnessed his betrayal. He desperately needed money for his son's medical issue so he betrayed the police in return for money from the drug cartel and Sun Jiayu happened to see him talking with a member of the cartel so he had to silence him.
Im surprised no one is talking about this, im on ep 3 and they introduced xuanji as some one who lacks all 5 senses so logically she should be worse off than Helen Keller but how come she only cannot cry, feel fear, anger or pain??? Off the bat she showed a bunch of emotions like happiness when she sees her sister, worry when she caused sifeng to get punished, curiosity when she sees new things etc. Also shes not blind or deaf....i would imagine her to be like a robot or a block of wood with how they introduced her. Can anyone explain this or did i miss some thing.

can anyone help with timing? You dont need to know chinese, just english is fine (but knowing even a little chinese is helpful). If you can help, please provide me an email, i can teach you how to time. You just need a good working computer/laptop and plenty of time. The more people to help, the faster.
