I'm on ep 70 and I did not expect this drama to kill off so many characters 😭
i had the same thought! the other 3 asadoras in WWII era that i watched didn't have as many deaths as here. but i'm glad because i think this asadora is still lighter than Toto Nee-chan.
I just finished this asadora and noticed your comment haha. I need to check out Toto Nee-chan soon!
haha yes you should! until now, Tsuneko (heroine in Toto Nee-chan) is the heroine that has the biggest impact on me, the most unyielding and sincere heroine.
I used to read the manga and I quite liked the story, but when I tried watching this, it was similar but I don't know why I just didn't like the way it was presented.
I am one of those people who are not interested in stories about work (it's just for a regular office job about business, i really like unique jobs like in Unnatural and Asadora). I usually get bored and I will skip that part, and just watch for the romance. BUT, this drama is an exception, I really like it, from the first episode to the last I never get bored!
I really like the characters, especially the trio Tanaka Maririn, Ono Tadashi and Yamase Shu. moreover, the fact is that I really like these three actors, and I'm glad they worked together in this drama!♡
i just got interested in watching this, and i came across your comment Macy haha
oh nooo, thank goodness i decided to watch Yell before this. can you tell me what makes it bittersweet? i don't mind spoilers.
btw i just finished Mai Agare, and surprisingly i loved it! i'm glad i didn't drop it in the middle and watched it till the end, even though there were things i was annoyed about in the middle, but i was very satisfied with the ending.
I just finished Mai Agare. This is my 13th asadora, of course it's not the best, there are some flaws, but so far I can say that this is one of my favorites! I will write a review for this asadora because no one has written one yet and I want people to know that Mai Agare deserves a better rating and review!✈
manga readers here, even though there is only one episode available, I have also fallen in love with the LA version. my jaw hurts because I keep smiling while watching this. can't wait for the upcoming episodes!🥹💕
ahh I'm embarrassed you saw this list haha thanks for the list format idea! honestly, those simple words…
Hah me too! I also only discovered Asadora at the beginning of this year, and that was because my sister recommended it. and it was Asadora that brought me back to Japanese dramas after I hadn't watched it for several years 🥰
Hi as someone who hasn't watched many Japanese dramas before and likes romance/slice of life etc which Zadof would…
hi! from everything I've watched, if you are looking for slice of life and romance, I would advise you to skip Toto nee-chan, Asa ga Kita, and Okaeri Mone (but if you like slow burn romance, Okaeri Mone is for you). Toto nee-chan and Asa ga Kita are more about the two heroines' struggle to become businesswomen, but both are very good! and the rest, you can try watching them all!
I personally like Natsuzora, Umechan Sensei and Ohisama the most. I think these three are the most calming and the pace of the romance is just right. but if you want a lot of 'drama' in their romantic relationship, you can try Mare and Hanbun Aoi.
and you can also try Hiyokko and Churasan, I personally really like the romance in Hiyokko, the hero is a BIG green flag!

you are a true asadora enjoyer!
yeah, i'm glad i still tried to watch it despite reading some bad reviews.
