why do I always start good drams when it's my finals? I remember waiting for this one to air but when it actually did I didn't had any urge to watch it. But now after starring The Double I had to give this one a try. And now I am unable to prepare for my exam tomorrow 😭

some actors shine in specific roles only. I see this happen so much with Leo Wu and now with Zhang Ling and WXY also. Leo still delivers well in other characters but playing that ruthless army general is a treat for us fans.

oh OK thanks. also is the male lead in it a very dark character? or did they whitewash him later on in the series? I try to avoid such dramas as in the start they show the lead as this dark character and later on make him all fluffy and whatnot.

I don't think age gap will be an issue with me. The only issue I have is regarding the whole atmosphere of the drama. whether it is typical over the top Chinese costume drama or not. Because those types of dramas are not my cup of tea. So just wanted a heads up before I actually dive into it. BTW thanks for the reply.

I can tolerate a bit of cheesy moments but over the top cringe moments are a big no for me. So I hope it doesn't fall in the category. Also can you tell me is it similar to Untamed, The Long Ballad in its atmosphere or complete opposite of that. Because those two are the only costume dramas that I can still rewatch and I hope it is similar to them somehow. BTW thank you for replying I'll definitely start this one as the plot seem very interesting and also Because I really find the ML interesting after watching him for the first time in Admist the snowstorm.

binge watched it in 2 days right before my finals started. And now I can't focus 😭🙏 this literally ended my kdrama withdrawal period. and I think after so long I finally found the drama that I can rematch and trust me it's a big thing because I'm not the type to rematch kdramas. Lovely Runner is definitely what a rom com ought to be. Ugh I can't move on 😭🙏
