It's directed by lee eung book same guy who directed mr sunshine , descendants of sun, goblin and school 2013 considering his track record of creating visually stunning dramas there is a high chance that this drama gonna turn out good.

Our education system is a mess in all my years in school I learned about mughal history rather than learning the real history of india and unlike korea our tv serials and movies don't show the real history of india and instead they show disorted version portraying mughals as kind hearted rulers and in chandra nandini instead of showing how powerful chandragupta maurya is they turned his story into a mess with unnecessary romance and unrealistic political schemes that never happened. Most youth love to watch movies and tv shows and I learned about korean history watching korean dramas but I can't learn the history of india from tv series because our dramas are shit and there were no historical web series to watch other than bose dead or alive (If you didn't watch it do check it out).

Dang that webtoon is from the same guy who wrote bastard right I didn't know it is getting live action drama and let me guess is it airing on tvn or ocn it's highly likely that it's going to be in tvn because of the budget.

Present day youngsters love to bash hinduism all the time without knowing that hinduism was first religion to consider treating woman with respect and how harming a woman is like harming the goddess lakshmi herself heck it even considered homosexuality as normal thousands of years ago but people don't know about it and instead they form their own biased opinion and say that its against the religion I think indians need to understand the truth about hinduism instead of believing the myths.

Honestly most hindus don't even know the real teachings of hinduism never discriminated woman in fact it said that all women should be treated like the direct images goddess lakshmi and maenstrual blood is considered sacred (But among present day indians the topic has been a taboo.) and Gays and lesbians were also considered normal. hinduism is progressive and treated every religion as equal but present day indians love western culture (I like their culture too but that doesn't mean I bash my own culture)

Even the movies didn't portray Hinduism properly (Baahubali did a good job then again it's a south indian movie.)

Actually this is the first I ever heard an actual creator of webtoons sharing their opinion and there were countless webtoon based dramas but I never heard any webtoon creator sharing the opinion.

The original creator is happy with the drama version tho

First two episodes won't help much but the rest of the episodes are worth watching even the author of the webtoon praised the drama.
