I agree the ending should have been less tragic considering how much the characters went true but it is not a bad drama it is actually one of the greatest dramas ever made. The ending is powerful maybe I felt that way since my country went through something similar IDK but it did move me (Also tragic endings doesn't make a drama bad) and can you explain pseudo comparisons I am not a Christian so I don't understand it but I am willing to if you can explain

Okay, No offence but I thought Kim Eun Seok's writing has improved since Mr Sunshine. But why does it feel like it's not going to get better? I should just stick around and see how it turns out maybe I could be wrong about this one.

Well Mr sunshine is her best work yet so yeah that's why I mentioned it I will be honest her last few dramas didn't fascinate me yes they were entertaining but they didn't impress me (Except goblin it was visually stunning)

I tolerated nirvana on fire 2's slow pace so I won't be dropping this one. It's my kind of drama

I think this is the only slow paced drama that I don't feel bored after mr sunshine
