Its a lot going from high school to 37 in 4 epis. I love the leads and they give it their all. And what they do is great. The plot has ton going for it- challenges for different ages, problems with couple goals, family..... I just feel like there was a lot more that could have been done. But I did not cry! It was a bit predictable issues and with it being so short I was less connected to them. I wish we knew more about them... cuz if you think about it.. you only know about them as a couple kind of lol
So... I read the manga... my point of view is a bit different than those that watched the anime. But I also read it years ago...Its from 2015. Miyamura- they really played him kind of cutie here. idk If thats how I felt about him back then, but its fine. Personally I love this, and wish it was longer-idk why the ratings are so low for a highschool romance lol For 7epis and 25mins each-they do the best to fallow the original plot and still have great character development.
Is this the best show ever? No- but its ok, fun to watch- but not really enough to keep anyone interested. Sure its cute- she is shy but cute and he is strong but tender. But just a smile makes everything OK.... as they have no real problems lol SO if you just want something to watch- this is it.
As far as cinematography- Its great, super pretty and I thought everyone did a good job in their role. But I kind of feel iffy about Kunogi Himawari role. I do feel like they wasted time but the story feels complete at the same time. IDK if I would recommend unless someone liked this kind of style as it is kind of borderline boring but the pretty /dark makes you watch
I read the manga a long long time ago... Its not that weird as people are saying... and lets be honest how many other manga's have a cousin love plot and a crazy 1/2 bro? So idk why people are so surprised by it. Its not even that bad as she's blunt about not liking them both. Do I see them in love? No- Do I understand the plot to see why- Yes. Some people have missed that its about them using glasses/ smiles to hid themselves as protection- so in a weird why they are the only one's who can understand each other. Is this worth your time? Not really- If your just feeling blah and want to watch something... then try this.

idk I had a blast watching it- sure things are left out and its been years sense I've watched the anime.... But it was still great to watch. I think the actors did a good job with the roles. Is it the same? No- there is no way they can fit a whole anime/manga into a few hours. But for me this is one of the best live actions out there for sure!
TBH its not until 1/2 way that I started to understand what the plot was even about- I feel like I still don't know anything about most of the team. ~But it is a great action movie. I'd not watch it again but if they came out with more I'd see those!
I do have to say that I fee like the ending is rushed and unexpected?!? Idk why it turned out like that, I think I would have liked another ending. I do still recommend this if you love a good revenge story!
idk... I only made it so far... I was so bored! I had to stop in #2. I needed something to happen but nothing was going on- I know people are going to say oh but you missed the best part! But if nothing grabs me in the first episode.. then something is so wrong.
