Its not tragic-very dark .... very intense & engaging from the start till the end. The characters are really interesting and complex. You can't watch 1 without the next... and then you watch the whole show xD
i kinda feel bad for Ryo tho... being killed by your twin brother like that is just...
TBH we don't know anything about him. It was Sou the whole time but for that bit. What I don't understand is she was scared of him before he attacked her... but she still wants to be with him? But I guess in that couple she is the more scary one.. she did kill and he is staying with her. Good news... no selling that house now xD

I have not watched season 2 but its not in season 1 at all. I thought about it BUT for me gu chang dose not love her at all and if zhan yan was reincarnation then they should react the same way around her. I just don't see it.
it is not a disappointed ending but instead makes you want to watch season 2 right away. The last few epi of this drama are to lead into the next season so some people are mad that there is no couple ending But I believe the real ending will be in season 2. The FL's main plot is not over yet.
I really enjoyed the first 25 episodes, but for me it went flat as soon as they traveled back to the past.
personally I wish they would have added more of this into the main plot-its hard to care about people when you don't know who they are. But they focused on Weng Gu- a more basic plot instead of this new back story,

I'm going to have to say at 27-ish it the 1,000yr travel part cuz we don't know who any of those people are . I wish they would have made that a bigger plot point instead of at the end. It makes everything else pointless
For me this is a good "war time" movie. The description is very little. But this is all about struggling to stay alive and the will to live through anything. Mine for coal is one of the most dangerous jobs out there and this movie dose a good job of showing why. If your here to watch the ML's then you will be disappointed. They are covered in grime 98% of the time. But its worth to watch. I love the dad/kid moments and the "couple" moments. Be ready for violence, greed, lust, rape, death, and injustice.
