i was expecting her to get justice/revenge for all the things they did to her especially them trying to kill her…
It's so easy for the audience to desire justice for the main lead d/t the way she was treated. Some times we forget that revenge does not have to happen right away. This was realistic to me because it showed that. Reality is that people will reap what they sow. The best revenge was she living her best life while the others get their karma.
Do not watch if you don't have time to binge. You've been warned! :D
This was an absolute beautiful drama. Once I started I could not put it down. Binged through it 3 days. I enjoyed this drama thoroughly from beginning to end. There was not a moment that was boring. The female lead did a wonderful job of playing her roles. I think the writers really exaggerated on the evil stepmother/sister/female roles but that is not new since Thailand does it a lot. Lol. I saw the first 4 episodes then read the comments here and understood that the first 12 episodes are the main lead's mom and dad's story. The little girl is her. Don't pay attention to the negative comments on here. I found the story line to be very fitting to it's culture and practices. Now that it is over, I am having some withdraws from the main leads. I really wished I saw a version of the Little Nyonya before making my trip to Malaysia (beginning of 2020)so I could really explore more of their rich history.
She's a gem! What a natural actress. She has versatile and can play almost any role really well. I enjoyed her in her first 2 dramas very much and can't wait for more! Watch out for her.
I'm not completely sold on her acting yet. Most of her acting roles fall flat. Like I have only seen 1 face of hers. When she's sad, angry, or happy-it's just one face. I do enjoy that the male roles that she acts with are really good looking and are really good actors and make the drama bearable.
Omg. I'm so annoyed by the FL and the writers! I am on episode 25 and it is the usual she runs around playing and the guy chasing her. They try to make the female lead fun and carefree but it is over the top. She is not responsible nor sensible and/or she likes the ML as much as they want her to. I'm only watching because of the ML. Then I feel as if they stopped building onto his character at ep.10. I am going to put this drama down and will come back to it later when I'm bored. The lies get tiresome as well.
I had a really hard time getting past episode 2 bc I don't like the FL. I was really going to watch for Shawn...but his character is slowly building... Will have to go back later.
Don't know if I posted yet... however, Shawn stole the show in Princess Agents! It was the the end of the drama when they script killed off his family. Team Shawn Dou!
