I don't think they dragged even a bit.. the drama was very fast paced ,, even faster than the K-dramas.. if I have to compare it to regular thai drama... then we took a airplane instead of a car..

I don't think this will end with EP 10... thai dramas don't have set number of episodes.. they add scenes while airing or delete scenes based on ratings.. I have seen series which had 17+ episodes announced ended with just 13 episodes and series with 13 episodes being dragged to 17 episodes.. .. Since they air 1 episode a week.. it becomes easier to add scenes which were deleted before or shoot additional scenes..

The story is moving very fast... I wouldn't be suprised if they end it by ep10... However, I hope there are happy scenes about the couples ( Not just angst) and they will add another 3-4 episodes....

NO MEANS NO.... for whatever reason it maybe.... he can try to convince her... he can even seduce her and make her confess... but he doesn't have any right to force her.... That's why the term Marital Rape came in first place... bcs if Wife Says NO.. it means NO... keep that in mind.

Not really true.. I have seen many non-harem Ancient Chinese dramas..

Does the ML has multiple wives?? I hate watching Harem conflict dramas...just like I hate lengthy love triangle dramas..

That moment where she gave him the hairpin was the first ever interaction between WX and General Song. So even if his feelings grow at a later stage.. their first interaction will still feel special to him.... when you go on dates.. you might not fall in love instantly however that first date with your partner.. you will always remember..

Also he thinks of this moment not only at the end of the show.. but also on the day he got married to WX's maid...

I don't agree with all the things..

1) Awu is a beautiful woman. Everyone wants to have the beautiful women like her.. Check the history.. so many far has been fought over beautiful women.

2) He is very powerful army general but he also in constant danger however he is from a low class family. Why will a Nobel want to marry and disgrace his family?? The nobles are too prideful people to consider him as a marriage partner. However he got marriage proposal from the two top most powerful noble. What else do you want?

3) Awu doesn't know how to fight. It is always the weak who always need protection. The same is true even to this day. If you are attacked on streets.. you immediately call police and they protect you..

4) She shows all her emotions on her face in the very beginning of the drama. However after everything she went through while marrying her husband.. she realized how important it is to hide those emotions. So even when facing death and while she is terrified. She acts like a very confident women.

5) I agree on the last point. However very few people dare to make a gray ML. Those characters are usually reserved for SML and SFL. So General Song getting such role was a bit obvious..

I agree.. both the emperor sons were dumb.... his nephew was smart and would have made a great king but bcs his lineage was found the emperor.. who then thought to place his dumb son instead of his smart nephew on the throne.... which caused this civil war.

She is a rebel princess considering from her fathers prospective.... it was her who spoiled all of his plans.. otherwise he would have became the king very easily.

I think she deserved it..

When she visits the border and sees for the kind of man he is.... she will come to love him...

This is what I saw in the drama:... In the beginning he only saw her as his masters wife.. however when he was assigned as her guard...things started to change.. he started to admire her courage especially when she defended the town they were staying at.. His feelings continue to grew and eventually after tasting the power.. he thought he can get her if he became a person more powerful than his lord..

I think the worst character in the entire story was the First Queen.... She was the most selfish person.. she brought upon her everything herself.. she wanted to kill the very person who put her son on the throne... I wish Awu had taken the throne.. it is people like her who really deserves the throne but I knew it wouldn't happen considering her husband is the General Protecting the borders.. It was one of the best political dramas I have watched in a while.

The beginning was great.. The middle was boring.. the ending was stupid ( Except for the last scene).

Same thoughts... if ML had the power to kill the dragon .... why did they even kill the FL??
